  • So easy, didn't even have to write anything down.

  • Oh I can't wait to make these!

  • Hi, your video is really great nice and easy to understand with clear instructions. I can't wait to try this and have gathered up some old jumpers. My only problem is that I only have a washing machine and no dryer. How can I get round this? please advice me if possible. Thanks

  • you can make the tension loose, and the stitch length long and don't back stitch and sew along the gathering edge on your machine, then just gather it by hand. I'm lazy and don't want to hand sew if I don't have too. lol! Thanks for a great project! These will look adorable on the recycled longies and hair bows that I make! I think they would even be cute for embellishing shirts!

  • Than you very much.

  • I'm sry but can we use regular fabric or felt to do this?

  • @angelofhell1338 I guess any stretchy fabric would do, not sure about felt though...

  • maybe not on my shoes, but id make a headband with one of them :)

  • will this work with denim?

  • @ tinyspecials- You took the words right out of my mouth- ditto ;)

  • Can you use just a straight stitch if you don't have a zig zag? Such pretty flowers.

I hope I can make the same.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Very useful.

  • Hi! How are you. Wonderful project, thanks alot for posting it : )

I have a question though... I was wondering if a zigzag stitch can be used to like, hem rugged or freshly cut edges? I have'nt even purchased a machine yet, but I recently heard about the "Serger" and saw how it gave fabric a "fresh" look. I was curious to know if a zig-zag stitch can do the same (or some other stitch thats on a sewing machine) ... I did'nt want to buy to machines... : /

  • Wow, what an easy project. I can't wait to try this.

  • Thank you! Great tutorial -- I've been cutting felt disks to make floral brooches, but I LOVE the ruffling!
