  • I think it would have been good to see how it turned out when dry.

I don;t know how this way of cutting translates into results.

  • Why are you cutting curly hair wet when the hair dry's you loose your angle and other things besides.

  • I thought your not suppose to cut the hair straight across for curly hair, thought you were suppose to cut into into it. whats it called the notch point cut something like that. ???

  • @Superchickzulema yes you do, curly hair should not be cut straight across...

  • ??????

  • ?????

  • you said, "That's very important for you to see that." Ummm.. I DIDNT SEE ANYTHING. I understand english, and what you are saying. next video you need to get rid of the paragraph taking up the whole view. Thanks for nothing :)

  • @TiphanyN You can turn off the annotations if that is what you're talking about. At the bottom of the video, you'll see a "CC" click that until it turns black and it's not red - and then you have annotations off.

  • Big mistake. You never cut curly hair wet. Curls are tighter in some place more than others. When you cut it wet, you have no idea what it will really look like when it's dry.

  • @SuperDaviska but if you cut it dry you might tangle the hair up and when curly hair is cut wet or dry it will usually get even curlier. the advantage of it being wet or straightened is you can see what you're doing and when the person wants to straighten their hair sometimes it will look good and not crooked, when their hair is curly it all just sort of blends in.

  • @DianaM11428 ....the thing about curly hair is that they're individual. so if you straighen it or cut it while it's wet you won't know what your cutting. Cause curly hair doesn't act like straight hair. It doesn't have to be completly dry though you can dampen it. But a good hairdresser who knows how to cut curly hair wont flatten it...

  • @SuperDaviska plus, she was pulling the hair with too much tension!

  • Curly hair is cut dry, never wet. Ever.

  • @joshjc07 i've had my super super curly hair cut wet into a short, bouncy layered cut twice and it was fine. As long as it has started to dry so you can see how the hair curls it's not so bad

  • The Girl getting the haircut looks so pissed off ..is she sad or something? lol

  • Thnak you for the video it's great!

  • THanks for the great videos!

  • Idk wat some ppl think but yall supposed to cut curly hair dry cause when it's wet it's longer so when u cut it dry ya kno how long or short ur maken it me nd ma mom have ethnic curly hair nd ma mom kept telling me this every time she did my hair when I was younger

  • Curly hair is supposed to be cut dry and not wet. Unfortunately not a lot of hairdressers get the proper training for cutting curly hair. But everyone with curly knows you recognise a well educated hairdresser by the way he/she cuts curly hair ;-)

  • dummbass should have dress her in white coat i cant see a thing

  • My hair is curly but nothing like hers!!! mine is more loose like shurley temple!!!!

  • Difficult to see the cut at all. Dark hair on a black cape ??? Terrible video.

  • i already have my hair in layers but dus anybody know how much it wud cost just to like retouch it because they kinda grew out. so yeah anser sumbody plzz!! k, thanx.

  • she said at an agle like 4 times lmao

  • Its NOT incomplete its just that the video is in several parts. look closer.

  • I liked the zooey deschanel commercial lol

  • Incomplete instructional video! Showing how to cut hair in just over 1 minute ?

The Expert Village has posted many video clips to show how to do things, but most of them are incomplete, over simplified, or worthless like this hair cut demo.

Whoever runs the Expert Village program is not intelligent enough to recognize that their training videos are substandard.

  • there are multiple videos. they're super helpful if you watch all of them. although trying to find all the videos in order is inconvenient. when you do find them, they're great!

  • that is so true. ive always cut my hair into layers. and its always been wet. it always comes out way shorter than what i expected when it dries out. take my word girls. ive experienced it sense i was little, like 7, 8, and 9 yrs old...im 18 now so i have knowledge about hair here and there.

  • oh my god she isn't. you are NOT supposed to cut it wet, with a fine tooth comb, straight down, or like that at all. you have to cut it in individual curls. CURLIES! DO NOT FOLLOW THIS VIDEO!

  • agreed :)

curly hair should be cut when it's dry, and at the crest of every curl. she said she was only cutting off half an inch but it was more than that

  • that's it...?

  • no need for subs.. Thanks for this video.

  • the girl who's getting a hair cut looks sad, she's probably nervous or something.

  • looks like a corpse in a binbag

  • Comment removed

  • why the person getting the haircut sad?

  • lol

  • i no rite shes like mad or sumfin . lol

  • @twilightfan854 whahahhaahaha shes cared to loose her hair ;p lol

  • @twilightfan854 Uhm how else are you supposed to look? Smiling throughout the whole 15 minutes of the haircut? I don't think so. The 20 people who liked that comment really need to think.

  • @twilightfan854 how is she sad? shes just looking down

  • @twilightfan854 because now she has to be in an expertvillage video

  • @twilightfan854

poor girl is forced to get her hair cut just for this video

  • @twilightfan854 I have the same type of hair. I get frustrated with it

  • no (lol) there is no rule book on cutting curly hair..however if you look at devacurl's you tube it discusses how to take care of curly hair. it's very informative.

  • very very nice cape

  • Is that girl asleep? lol.

  • curly hair should always be cut dry!!!

  • says who? is there a rule book?

  • if you cut curly hair dry then it wouldn't be cut equally because how each curls is curled depends on how much hair is taken that's y people with curly cant have there hair cut too short other wise it would look even shorter

  • yea i agree wit u..u shud nvr cut curly hair when its wet.

  • I believe it depends on the amount of curls. Gentle curls (waves) can be cut wet.

  • why is it bad to cut curly hair when it's wet? I'd think it would be easier

  • cuz when curly hair is wet, it becomes more or less straightened(also longer), so when u cut wet curly hair, you will probably end up ruining the hair... when the hair dries up again, it will look way shorter than what you expected.. and uneven...

  • She does repeat words a lot, but at least she knows what she's doing. Try to find the videos with a "stylist" wearing a red shirt and clearly has no idea what she did, lol. (from expertvillage too)

  • love the cape

  • youtube has a certain amount of time the videos can be, better to make many short ones covering different areas with more info. than one long one and leave stuff out. At least shes talking in them, and uses a cool shiny black cape in them.

As for the introduction...they all have to do this from expervillage for every video.

    I'd let her do me.

  • I love the sound the comb makes as it hits the cape as shes combing the hair, you can her it a few times if you listen closely. Thats awesome!

  • lets play a game

do a shot every time she says "angle"

  • *Unsubscribed*

  • bad idea using a black cape with black hair to demonstrate a haircut.

  • @ilovefeelincheap

    XD I know right!

"As you can see, it's cut at an angle"

    No, no we don't see...

  • i can cut hair better than that and i'm fourteen.

but thats my dream anyways. XD

  • How many times did she say 'angle'?

  • lolllll

  • like three =S

  • drinking game! lol

  • I count 7 times.
