I played the beginning on my trombone. I make it sound just like this. But my friend makes it sound even better on euphonium. But it's unbeatable when played well on the french horn. It makes me melt, dude. So soothing.

@xxTheDutchBoyxx I prefer the first and third movements of Holst's 1st Suite in Eb as well, but Ticheli's American Elegy will always be my favorite.

@dennalilly I know exactly how you feel. I cannot express in words how this song makes me feel. Especially when you're in the middle of a large, experienced, and talented band. There is no other substitute in the world for such a feeling. 99% of the time I have tears in my eyes by the first minute of the song.
