Awesome. I get possums in my yard sometimes, and they're very startling. But once I saw one about that size; it had a few baby ones hanging onto it. After that I realized, even though they look like something from outer space, they're just trying to do their own thing. I wouldn't want to pet one, though, haha.

i was at my uncles house his washing machine was broken so he put it outside later that night his puppy squealed like hell then the momma dog was barking like hell i came up the puppy was biten and i had to kill the opossum with a pellet gun cause the real guns were in his shed i felt sorry for killing it it wouldn't leave and it had rabbies btw the puppy is ok

it's funny in New Zealand we're actually encouraged to kill them, they're regarded as dirty nasty pests and we often hunt them for fur or you'll see them squashed on the road, but they don't have a predator here so there are literally THOUSANDS of them and they eat all our native trees, but it's a shame cos they're totally innocent and harmless creatures, some of them are quite cute, and they're also very clean creatures too, the rabies thing is all bull shit this is clearly a tired hungry one

It is freezing ! notice that it is standing on the thick mat and staring inside--it is cold. They always drool , doesn't mean anything. It is the least likely animal to have rabies in the country. Not only is the body temp too low, they also have a peptide ("NTNF") that destroys toxins. Its eyes do look sullen , it is probably emaciated . They can rarely forage in winter--too cold. They are very docile and shy. Next time feed the poor thing and give it a blankie.

i am currently tryin to kill a possum we set a trap and it hasnt gotten..but ok this possum here seems harmless..i thank all my sisters for makin me scare of them but now that im lookin at all this possum videos maybe their not that evil as i thought..I WANT THIS FEAR OF POSSUMS TO GO DAMMIT!
