@alexus2394 This shade of blue is really long lasting, it doesn't turn green when it fades, it turns more and more lilac. It stays blue for at least 2 months, then it turns more lilac. It still looks bright and nice though! ^^
@iixxLipCandy I've never used Directions, but from what I've heard it doesn't have any good staying power :/ Manic Panic's staying power is not the greatest either IMO. But MPs pinks are pretty strong though!
your faded multicolored hair is similar to my faded colored hair. so i colored it purple on top half and pink on the ends. oh and my real color is black so i kept it.
@Lilladii2010 It all depends on how yellow the hair is. You should always try to get your hair a pale yellow before dying. Orange... not sure if it will work at all, it's fine if you want to dye your hair red, though. But very yellow hair - add more purple

@dexter6326 Hi! Hard to tell over the internet. But when dying with blue color I always recommend going for a more purple toned blue, like this one I used in the video. Because, you would rather have purple tone than green toned hair... right? ;)

@McSianus The blue lasted a good 2 months before it started to turn purple/lilac, it still looked bright after 3 months! You can check if you're warm or cool toned by using gold and silver jewelry and see which fits the best. Gold = warm, silver = cool. But you can still alter your skintone with makeup! I do it all the time ^^ I'm warm toned, but I wear a neutral toned foundation, makes the hair look better against my skin ^^

@TrapWolf This dye - SE velvet blue - has really good staying power. It doesn't look bad even after 3 months, it doesn't turn green, but it turns to a violet color. That's better then green, no? It never really faded, it just looked more and more purple.
How damaging is the bleach? I have black hair, and I'm getting it done blue in a few days. I've been keeping extra care of it since October, but I'm still a little freaked about destroying my hair.
@TweetieAlexandria Hard to say on a scale of 1-10 but 40 vol. is strong. How it affects your hair really depends on hairquality. My hair for example have been bleached numerous times with both 40 vol and 30 vol and it's a little dry but it's not fried or destroyed^^ If your hair becomes dry and have a lot of breakage after bleaching I recommend to repair your hair with Paul Mitchells hair repair! Awesome stuff!
@XbabyCCX There can be many reasons to why; some dilute because they want the color to be lighter, or to eehm.. "make it seem like there is more dye" Sorry my english, lol. I dilute because I want a better texture, SE dyes are really thick and, to me, harder to work with than Manic Panic. Adding conditioner makes for a smoother texture =)
@XbabyCCX That depends on how much conditioner you add to it, I don't add too much (you can somewhat see in the video) and it doesn't affect the color. It's really hard to say out of the blue how much you would have to add if you wanted it to be lighter since some colors are darker and more pigmented than others. And I'm pretty sure the dye won't get darker when you add conditioner ;)
@ColdPassion Yes! Everybody told me that Blue Velvet was too dark, and I didn't want it to be darker than the last blue I was using, then I diluted it with white conditioner, so it wouldn't be sooooo dark (but I think I put to much conditioner and I got a super light blue lol).

I should have tryed doing this video, I tryed dyeing a part of my hair blue and it turned out green, bleached it brighter more of a golden ice blonde, turned out green again.. but my friends loved the green anyway. :P

@TheEmoPoKe hey. if ur going to use bleach, u can go a head nd put it over the black, but ur going to need to buy a toner as well, because it is going to turn out very brassy, and its not going to be what you wanted. so i would recommend buying a 12 V toner, and only leave it on for like 5 minutes, or until ur desired lightness, because ur hair will turn violet with it on there. and also buy bed head shampoo and conditioner called dumb blond, it helps reconstruct ur hair as well help w/the color
actually these color products actually harm ur hair, just like box color, because they contain metallic salts in them that sit on ur hair, and 40 vol is the worst for ur hair, because it fries it. i go to school for cosmetology, and its always best to use like a 20 vol for color, and 30 vol for lightener. its easier on ur hair. the best color line for non natural colors would be pravana line. just saying.

@DuDetTE205 No, they contain no harsch chemicals and they don't develop when applied the your hair. Also, it conditions the hair. The only thing that could be bad for you is if you have allergies.

@darkestnight128 Intensity is the same, IMO. But the texture of SE dyes are a bit thick, so conditioner makes it more smooth, easier to apply.

If we are going to talk personal experiences with bullies I think I can take the 1st prize right away. And, again, ignoring them doesn't work. If you fight back and own them, they go away. Think of it as a fight IRL, they hit you, you do nothing - they turn you into a punching bag and keep hitting you into you're down. Fight back and at least try to win

Someone calls you a witch just reply with,"Aw, thanks! I just brought my broom to the shop and they're redoing the bristles. It should fly much faster now! I'm so excited!"
They'd be so confused (and probably laughing their asses off) that future trolls will just laugh and not bother trying to insult you because you won't be giving any fight. Fighting entertains them longer term than playing along from my experience.

@TrapWolf This dye - SE velvet blue - has really good staying power. It doesn't look bad even after 3 months, it doesn't turn green, but it turns to a violet color. That's better then green, no? It never really faded, it just looked more and more purple.

@TweetieAlexandria Hard to say on a scale of 1-10 but 40 vol. is strong. How it affects your hair really depends on hairquality. My hair for example have been bleached numerous times with both 40 vol and 30 vol and it's a little dry but it's not fried or destroyed^^ If your hair becomes dry and have a lot of breakage after bleaching I recommend to repair your hair with Paul Mitchells hair repair! Awesome stuff!

@XbabyCCX There can be many reasons to why; some dilute because they want the color to be lighter, or to eehm.. "make it seem like there is more dye" Sorry my english, lol. I dilute because I want a better texture, SE dyes are really thick and, to me, harder to work with than Manic Panic. Adding conditioner makes for a smoother texture =)

@XbabyCCX That depends on how much conditioner you add to it, I don't add too much (you can somewhat see in the video) and it doesn't affect the color. It's really hard to say out of the blue how much you would have to add if you wanted it to be lighter since some colors are darker and more pigmented than others. And I'm pretty sure the dye won't get darker when you add conditioner ;)

@ColdPassion Yes! Everybody told me that Blue Velvet was too dark, and I didn't want it to be darker than the last blue I was using, then I diluted it with white conditioner, so it wouldn't be sooooo dark (but I think I put to much conditioner and I got a super light blue lol).

@ColdPassion people always told me how if i keep dying my hair it'll fall out WELL all through highschool i bleeched and dyed and permed and bleeched more and THEN in college i got dreadlocks and THEN dyed them THEN combed them out and then re-dyed them and now i just bleeched again and dyed my hair a light brown from black and my hair is FINE don't listen to stupid people

I should have tryed doing this video, I tryed dyeing a part of my hair blue and it turned out green, bleached it brighter more of a golden ice blonde, turned out green again.. but my friends loved the green anyway. :P
But now I have red, but it fadded badly. x_x -needs to redye- xD

@TheEmoPoKe hey. if ur going to use bleach, u can go a head nd put it over the black, but ur going to need to buy a toner as well, because it is going to turn out very brassy, and its not going to be what you wanted. so i would recommend buying a 12 V toner, and only leave it on for like 5 minutes, or until ur desired lightness, because ur hair will turn violet with it on there. and also buy bed head shampoo and conditioner called dumb blond, it helps reconstruct ur hair as well help w/the color

actually these color products actually harm ur hair, just like box color, because they contain metallic salts in them that sit on ur hair, and 40 vol is the worst for ur hair, because it fries it. i go to school for cosmetology, and its always best to use like a 20 vol for color, and 30 vol for lightener. its easier on ur hair. the best color line for non natural colors would be pravana line. just saying.

@DuDetTE205 No, they contain no harsch chemicals and they don't develop when applied the your hair. Also, it conditions the hair. The only thing that could be bad for you is if you have allergies.
