I live closer to the downtown area than most people in the City. Georgia schools are community schools. Sales tax is lower. I pay less state income tax in Georgia than Tennessee ( Halls Income Tax). Memphis is ten times larger than Chattanooga.

I live in Chattanooga. We are taxed to death. We are the model city for politicians and career government employees to use to tax their cities. Taxpayers have to pay to park in public areas taxpayers built, that is like paying to park in your driveway. The downtown area does not bring in enough revenue to pay the interest on our bonds. Amazing?
