ok ok, i have both a yz125 and cr450, love them both but mostly ride my cr450f, if theres one thing thatn eeds to be put to rest...where the hell are guys coming up with that a 450 cost's like 2grand to rebuild? just did a full carb and topend rebuild on my crf450 for like 540$....rings gaskets the works.

Hahaha, I guess I can't handle a real bike. Two strokes are very pointless to race because they are not as good as the four strokes. Two strokes are fun and okay for backyard riding and the C class. (:

2 strokes are great ,if the factory put as much money and research and developement in to 2 strokes as they have 4 strokes in the past 15 years they would be right there. a kx or cr500 produces more peak power with more torque than a 450 4 stroke with a much easier maintenance schedule. the factory wants you to blow your 4 stroke up and spend 2k on parts. not 500$ on a cylinder and piston

that 500 2-stroke sounds so sick. ridiculous fast. it would destroy a modern 450 4stroke. not to start an argument, i love both, i had the luxury of riding 04 kx500 before and recently rode a new kx450 fuel-injected. as powerful and good throttle response as it had...it is no comparison to the big bore 2 stroke
