  • hey i have a question. I noticed you have really wide hips. Do you mind telling me how much they measure? Around your hipbone

  • @emiliopenazepedak I'd have to check my actual hip measurement. But I know that I went from a size 38 pants to 31. So I cut a lot of the fat off my hips and waist. I would mostly say that it would appear that I have wide hips. Cause there was soo much fat on them. They are a lot smaller than they used to be. Hope this helps :)

  • Just what I needed to see. I'm on my 3rd attempt at it right now. Its hard! Congratulations, you look amazing, not even like the same person. You did great and should be very proud of yourself!

  • @Jrolandbarnes Thank you so much! I love P90X! It has transformed my life! Have fun with this round of it! What sort of goals do you have with this round?

  • @CoachJefClements To finish it. I haven't been able to get through all 90 days yet. What was your strategy? Its hard to keep going when my arms lose their strength and I can't get off the floor! I'm 220 now, I'd like to see 195!

  • @Jrolandbarnes Making goals is the biggest part. So set a goals for each day, week, and month. Don't miss a workout!! And stay on point with nutrition. What have you been doing for your nutrition?

  • @CoachJefClements Just eating healthy. Veggies, water, protein, Green tea, etc. Thanks! Is there a trick to relieving the soreness, or do you just go with it?

  • good work dude, I also tryed P90X, And I change pretty good, I also took pictures of myself, even friend told me to make a video, , well I'm kind of lazy about doing that, anyways, keep going. I already change the P90X, and know i'm taking kick boxing, body pump, yoga, zumba, And abs work out at my gym. It really change your lives guys, The only thing that every body have to look out, is what you eat, once you change your food behavior, in a good way, you will change.

    Alejandro Barbosa!!!

  • @CoachJefClements did you go through classic, doubles,or lean for your first 90 days

  • @Tru3Gamer1 I did classic for my first two 90 day sets. Have you done P90X before?

  • @CoachJefClements yes i am currently doing my second round so i can be super fit for when i go to the navy

  • Yeah dude, Good job. Now that is inspiring.

  • @Alonesoldier100 Thanks! I've now just been spending my time trying to bulk up, which is a whole new ball game, lol. Thanks again!

  • i have a question and i'd be really happy if you could answer me

are there some alternate workouts for some of the workouts they do in the dvd? because i can'T do more tha 3 push ups and not even a single clean pull up!

i really need an answer to this. thx

  • @tunsiCA94 There are ways to do assisted pushups and pullups. They go over how to do them in the videos. They are a great place to start if you cant do many push ups or pull ups. When I started I could only do 3-5 pushups and not even 1 pullup. It takes time get better but you can do it if you set your mind to it. Are you thinking of starting soon?

  • @CoachJefClements 0yes i have been thinking about it since december, but i thought that i couldn't do everything in these videos thatsy why i hesitated!

did you follow the p90x nutrition guide or did you do your own thing??

  • @tunsiCA94 Don't let anything make you hesitate from here on. You can do it! Do your best, it doesn't matter if you cant keep up with the people in the videos. It will take time to get into shape. Even if 3 pushups is all you can do then do 3 each time in while doing a vid then next week try for 4 or 5 and you will get better. I followed the nutrition guide for the first 90days. It is a great one and nutrition will be vital to your success, I also did Shakeology as well.

  • @CoachJefClements thank you for your guidance and support man. I really appreciate it! :D

  • my body composition is exactly like u were before....desparate to lose fat....sud never had procrastinate...now might miss my chance for my luv

  • @oziazn Well if you want to lose fat you have to do it for you. I started my journey based off poor health and a breakup. But in the end getting fit has become one of the greatest things I've ever done in my life. I feel happier and more healthy than ever!

  • so you followed p90x exactly as you were supposed to?

  • @dany55655 Yup I sure did. I did it twice and for the first 90days I followed the included diet plan to "T". Are you thinking about trying it out?

  • @CoachJefClements ya i got it, and im starting soon.

  • @dany55655 Awesome! Rock it and let me know if you have any questions about it! It's a great program

  • @CoachJefClements thats great i am happy for you!

  • good job man!

  • @armory247 Thanks armory! I've been working on adding muscle now that I cut the fat off! Have you tried P90X before?

  • hey how tall were you in this video.

  • @hiho833 5'10 I've been that height since I was about 17. I def had too much fat on me. Had to start by cutting that off and now I'm adding muscle!

  • Hey dude congrats on your change! Im the same build as you were and wondering if i should do the lean or classic? What did you do? Thanks for the info!

  • @IBANGFORGOD Thanks! I did classic. It will be tough at first but def stick it out! I still workout everyday adding muscle and loving it! Have you done P90X before?

  • @CoachJefClements Im on day 2.. I have a child on the way and wanna make sure i am as healthy as possible for him. Thank you for taking the time to write me!

  • how important is the nutrition plan in p90x?

  • @TheDesertrat01 The nutrition plan they include is very good. It takes you through phases just like the workouts do. If you don't do their plan you MUST be on a proper nutrition plan. It makes up at least 60% of your progress. What sort of workout goals do you have?

  • @CoachJefClements not true. you do not have to follow their diet plan to loose weight. Its a bunch of BS and a waste of time IMO you here are the things you need to cut out of your diet. no fast food. i only had fast food one time in 30 days of p90x and that is because thats what my family ate for dinner. that doesnt matter. NO FAST FOOD. NO CANDY. NO CHEETOS POTATO CHIPS . NO PROCESSED FOODS AT ALL! try to go healthy eat fruits vegetables. and if you know the food is bad eat a little not a lot.

  • Very motivating! you look great.

I'm on day 5! I can do it!

  • @orangeduckies19 Thanks! You can do it! Just stick with the program and keep your nutrition in check. Is this your first time with the program? What sort of goals do you have set. If you don't mind me asking.

  • I am at 245.2 pounds and me and my fiance are going to be getting this program in two months. We are losing weight now so that we can get ready for the work outs. I am not going to hurry up in the workouts either for P90x you can do them as slow or fast as you want to you don't have to follow the dvd's to the exact. Thanks for this video dude. I really need to get down to my goal weight of 185 but I want to be lean and toned not bulky. I am already a big guy.

  • I'm sitting at 15% BF with a total bodyweight of 235 pounds, so I have a lean body mass (LBM) of 203-205 pounds. 18 months ago I had slipped to a lazy 33% BF with a LBM of 170. I'll be back down to my competition weight of 220 and 10% BF within about 8 weeks, still rockin a 500 pound deadlift, 435 pound back squat and a weak bench of 315. I'm not the greatest in the world, but I've done a lot of reading on how things work. It's also very important to understand your body type and what works...

  • @bomb1977 Mistake number one of most Americans is losing fat too quickly?? I think the number one problem we face... is how obese most Americans are period. The numbers of overweight people that stay that way are astounding. I cut all that fat off and converted from 30%body fat to 9% which is what I'm at now. 9% and 168lbs. at 5 10. So I'm gaining weight and losing body-fat percent. I also have very different goals than you do.

  • I'm looking to be more concerned about definition and my physique. I'm not concerned with how much weight I put up, I mean its nice but it's not my main concern. I really only want to gain about 15-20 lbs at most. I'm going for the more ripped look. Some people call it the hollywood look. It will take a while to add the muscle I want but I'm up for it! Plus I gotta keep my body-fat super low for that. But a combo of heavy lifting and some cardio will do the trick.

  • Mistake #1 by over 99% of the population is losing too much fat, too quickly and consuming a lot of muscle at the same time. You may have lost weight, but you have comprimised your fat burning ability moving forward. Building muscle is hard, your diet needs to be on point and you need a solid lifting program that works the muscles without overtraining them and creating elevated cortisol levels which cause you to store more fat.

  • Now gain 30 pounds of muscle so you don't look like a 14 year old boy. You could have done a program that included weight lifting and looked 10 times better at the end. You got skinny, congrads. Women like muscles...

  • @bomb1977 I'm looking to add about 15 or 20 lbs in muscle. I'd like to hit about 180-185 and less then 6% body-fat. But 60lbs of solid fat loss in under 6 months isn't too shabby. P90X more than anything gave me structure. Now I do a combo of heavy lifting with Insanity workouts. Just jumping into a heavylifting program wouldn't have been right for me when I was heavier but I love lifting! I've never really had trouble with women...heavy or skinny...I just seem to do well with them either way :)

  • good job man! i am currently at a weight loss of 60 pounds.

  • @RAMMSTEINxFURxIMMER Congrats! What sort of program are you on?

  • where are the pecs? you didnt get much muscle buddy, just fatt loss?

  • @pacisablo Mostly fat loss in my first two rounds but that was needed. I've been working on my all around physique but as people who workout a lot know... It takes a lot more time to put on muscle then to lose fat. But step one is done...fat loss. Now I've been working on adding the muscle!

  • wow nice work man! keep it up! You HATE it... but you LOVE it!!

  • @stolson22 Love it man! Good stuff!

  • hey verry nice man, im about 6ft and 275 i need to get to 203 for the marines and im thinking of doing p90, do you think it will work for me

  • @Redneckamerican5792 Heck ya it will! P90X is well rounded and if you really push it, it WILL work. Follow everything you get with it; the workout program and at the diet and you can definitely do it! Check out my website and youtube page. I've got all sorts of tips and videos about P90x. And feel free to contact me with any questions about the program! When ya thinking of starting?

  • @CoachJefClements soon my buddy burned it for me, but the disks only work on computer so im gettin my other friend to put them on regular DVD's, no diet plan with mine only the workout scedule:)

  • WOW that is truly inspiring!

  • @DarkRed237 Thanks much! It was a tough road but I'm keeping up workouts and I'm loving this new life I've created for myself! Thanks again!

  • Great results bro! How tall are you?

  • @PistolHolic23 Thanks man! I'm 5'10". I've now been doing an Insanity P90x Hybrid and I'm trying to add mass and get leaner! Thanks for the post!
