I was right across the river at Titusville to watch the Endeavor take off live. Took 3 hours to get there, 2 minutes to watch it light up the sky, then 4.5 hours in crawling traffic to get back to Orlando. What a night!
Yup sadly we're running out of days to see an actual launch! I'm excited to see what comes next down the line but having grown up with the shuttle its going to be sad to see the fleet retired...

I saw it from Cooper City, which is by Ft. Lauderdale. ot was a strek of light, but clearly visible.

I have a tip for the camera man: CLEAN THE DAMN LENSE AND AIM THE CAMERA AT THE SHUTTLE WHEN ITS TAKING OFF.

this happened at the last launch too they couldnt find the shuttle in the vewfinder
