@Tiachante609 sure a cap could be used but I find them to move alot once your scalp has sweat. I don't like the feel of caps personally though. Plus if the client has thick hair I like to use the protective shield solution to get their hair as flat and hard as possible so the tracks can hold nicely.

@1983ctaylor I use a wide tooth comb or a spaced out thisle brush and pull the curls all the way out before I cut and shape the hair..

@sheka1289 YES or a lil black gel. I rub it in my hands then across the curls and they bounce right back into place... especially on the top!! try it
