I loved it.. I got one and it only lasted like 7 months.. it got a bios password by itself.. not sure how that happened but i couldnt remove it cuz it has a soldered bios battery and it has no jumpers, no nothing to remove this password.. its in my closet now. so if you have this computer and you put a bios passw and forget it or if someone else puts it.. your computer is gonna be useless..

I have this laptop the problems:

- the charger broke 4 months later

- it overheats all the time

- the battary last's an hour

- the touch buttons don't work

- and you have to turn the sound up loud with you want to hear music from both speakers not just the left one.

BUT! all that happend in its first year and nothings happend yet!

If you have this laptop (i do too) it may over heat or get kinda warm on the touch pad or in that area..it runs AMD processor. That's what mine has. AMD processors in computers can cause it to heat up more than Intel. Hope this helps thanks. If you can buy a cooling fan that goes underneath the laptop.

I don't think it sucks. You can always upgrade the drivers when you want to and have enough money too. Since Windows 7 comes out I think if you buy it then it will run a lot faster. But hey maybe that's just your laptop because not every laptop people make come out perfectly than others. Desktops I think are better for playing those high gamer games.

This is probably the best laptop on the Market, I'm so glad I bought this sucker. Only cons is that its not a gaming laptop, a bit heavy and its a dust magnet. Everything else, excellent laptop. Good for college papers, work office and to stream your movies on your LCD tv.

Its really the best for gaming. I bought a limited edition one and I play Combat Arms, Crossfire, Etc. and i love it. The speakers are crystal clear and pefect graphics.

I doubt that it is fake, yours must be one of the 16 inch models (A350/A355) in the satellite line, as they do indicate "Satellite" where you would see "Toshiba" on the A305's.

I have this exact same laptop!! except mine is having some slight problems, an update to the mousepad program is different so my mousepad has no side scroller, also my "control" key on the bottom left corner is kinda faulty and my left mouse button is kinda umm... loose for lack of a better word? u have any help, if anything can u tell me what program the mouse should work with and also does yours also have a short batttery life

Well, that is a very new and very graphically intensive game...the processor could handle it, but the integrated graphics are a big bottleneck for gaming. If it could play it, it would have to be pretty low settings

I've been using this computer on a daily basis (it's my only computer!) for almost a year now and I'm pretty happy with it. Its boot up time is still short and it looks great, although there are some scratches on the surface beneath and above the keyboard. I can still recommend it to anyone who is looking for a unexpensive laptop which is powerful. Anyway, I was a bit pissed when Toshiba made a similar laptop with a bigger, 16" screen few months after I got this one, but... Whatever.

It can most definitely play the game, not necessarily at the highest graphics, but not all the way down either. It runs it well, just got the game today. It runs fairly well because it actually supports the Intel XMA3100 Graphics Accelerator (the integrated graphics chipset in this laptop.)
