I am always amazed at the number of personal attacks that come from articles like this. The point being made is about legality of "water boarding," not douche bags.
former gov. former navy seal former actor former competitive swimmer, what hasnt this guy done. 10 years ago I thought he was a formidable political candidate, but now I think he is just nuts
Guess what asshole? Just because you regurgitate whatever you see or hear on fauxnews, rush limbaugh, et al does not make it true With so much made up bs coming from anyone with an opinion trying to help their own political agenda, Seal team 6 will never even know the real truth about whatever info was received from whatever source So how would you, jerk-off?
Jesse Ventura is the next JFK. A great man who sincerely cares about the state of affairs and could not possibly do our country any harm. If he ran for president, not only would he win, our country would flourish like it hasn't since the 1990's.
..even if the bush bythem self go and say in public ...''yes i m responsible for 911 i send the aircrafr to destroy the wtc'' or yes it was inside job it was controling demolition''(u can see it in eny video 911) ...wat the people goingg to do WHAT the all cytizend going to do... NOTHING... NOTHING....nobody cant do somthing what they go in the street an destroy some cars and shops ...that s all ....so humanity all what they have to do is shut the fuck up and sleep..
I start to have feeling that American people are like little children..is it possible that there must be so broad disscusion about is or isnt waterboard torture?
It is like asking whether water is wet?! Wake up...brothers and sisters you are 300 milions and you decide mostly about future of Earth (7bil ppl).

Oh how about that, being nice to the terrorists actually works better than torturing them, well gee, theres a no brainer! If we were nice to them to begin with, theyd have no reason to hate and attack us, now would they?
@DESIGNATOR1030 I'm pretty sure that I heard him say a couple of times that he did serve as a SEAL towards the end of his career. Which, you'd think, would silence all of the Asshats saying that "He's just pretending to be SEAL, he was only a member of the Pussy-Ass UDT" but of course it didn't
Quite sad that, if it dosen't say that he did something on his Wikipedia page, these people believe that he MUST not have ever done it.
@CrackeTheSkull In January 2002, Ventura, who had never specifically claimed to have fought in Vietnam, disclosed for the first time that he did not see combat. He did not receive the Combat Action Ribbon, which was awarded to those involved in a firefight or who went on clandestine or special operations where the risk of enemy fire was great or expected...."Warm and Toasty"
If hooking up one raghead terrorist prisoner's testicles to a car battery get the truth out of the lying little camelshagger will save just one Australian, American or Canadian life, then I have only three things to say, 'Red is positive, Black is negative, and Make sure his nuts are wet.'
I like Olberman more than Orielly, but Olberman lost points for me when he was mad about Dc v Heller. Actaully to clarify that I hate BillO, and I like Olberman because he is the lesser of two evils, but the lesser of two evils is still evil.
cos he has a hard enough time getting people to come to grips with waterboarding! its a crazy world aint it.... if he talked about that stuff he'd be worried to be further labelled 'unpatriotic'
Confessions (to anything) under extremes of torture has been around ...
oh....2,000 years or so. Big revelation.
It doesn't take any particular brilliance to notice what has been known for a millenia. In the U.S. the OBVIOUS, Duh, Rain is Wet is an ARGUMENT of exciting debate.
Jesse is a nice man, but he is not uh, brilliant. His topic is common knowledge but we treat it as stunning news.
Yes. We are a nation of retards. Torture doesn't work, WOW!!!!
How is that common knowledge? If you consider that common knowledge then a solution for health care the same. He makes a great and very well thought out plan that many people who argue for discredit. Just because it's been around for 2000 years does not make it a small revelation considering how age does not reflect common knowledge, dumbass.
And the issue is traditional interrogation vs torture interrogation. Glad you grasped that and not twisted this into what you wanted to say. Always good to see focus taken off the topic and spun towards the direction of the accuser. Do you work for Fox News?
In case I need to say it, I love Jesse Ventura, would support him in every political effort he makes. He is probably the only one whom I would trust with my grandmother.
I think he is a beautiful human being and love him for him enormous good heart.
@deckchairs1 Jesse Ventura is a great American and has some serious integrity. However, he was a disaster as a Governor in Minnesota. He needs some more air-time though to educate the country. He just isn't a great politician.
I don't know his record very well when he was Governor but I have to say I probably agree. I like Jesse a lot because he is a very good watch dog over our corrupt criminals in D.C. but he falls short in solutions to problems, like say compared to someone like Ron Paul. I would still take him any day at the highest level compared to the corporate owned shills we have.
Been tired of dumbed-down common sense and decency. What I'm actually angry about is the desertification of easy intelligent discussion. Instead it's sunk to the level of Dick & Jane primary reader since 1980. The bar is lowered to celebrities.
I love Ventura's honesty and don't blame him for this.
Meanwhile, dignified dedicated folks w/broad understanding & sincerity are marginalized & caged who could actually uplift this country.

Funny how he ties these two things together because quite simply watching Olbermann is considered torture in most countries.

@spm1021 At least not deadly torture like watching Fox News, now that actually kills off brain cells in an exponential manner.

CaptainSteve0112 2 years ago
Must be my phrasing.
I wouldn't take 5mil a year to do Faux news dirtywork.
My point is this: Basic decency and the psychotic crime of torture should not even be a QUESTION.
Faux brings on Jesse for the singular reason he is viewed as a fringer (by them). The subcon message is that to be against torture is abberrant.
There are a few hundred million americans who are instinctively revulsed by torture. ..
they chose him for his novelty, not his gravity.

Faux distorted message:
The common man is crude-spoken.
The ordinary man isn't refined enough to understand that torture is necessary.
That is the filth of Faux news and why I cut out the MSM entirely 6 years ago.
They are sociopathic evil people who can't speak a rational sentence.
