  • So lethal!

  • I remember seeing this line up at Banana's in about 1979 ...its awesome to see this again !

  • The difference between this and other punk or punk inspired music is that they can actually play their instruments. RIP James.

  • good song!

    rip freud

  • Don't remember any cocks out..... this was a magical, innocent time.

Great harmonies, gee the drumming is tight. Of course this stuff really shat all over the UK power pop of the time. Lofven's videos - all of them were world class

  • There was a great interview with Donnie Sutherland on Sounds ..

  • How great is he was through 80s 90s and now ... will miss him... had so much to give, we're appreciating now and will continue...

  • Searching for Hold On and found the news. RIP James

  • R.I.P. James!! :' (

  • Hi too all who read this ,he was a great man with a brilliant mind and sole one of the most ground braking song writer's in Australian music ,80,90s Barbados -modern girl, two cabs to the toucan,Out of Mind, Out of Sight, are in the 80s hall of fame...

make no mistakes about this man with his looks moves and charisma will always be unmarketable brilliant , the hard knocks were never taken lightly

  • RIP JAMES

  • I am sure there are tributes on many of YouTube's sites but I saw James support Gary Numan in Brisbane in 1980 and again in Brisbane in 1983 with David Bowie. All I can say is, I wish his family well and I hope you find the peace that you need. Thank you for the many songs solo and in bands.

  • A very, very sad day! RIP James ... xxx

  • RIP James, you always provided me with plenty of laughs, and you always put on a show!

  • RIP James. May you find peace.

  • RIP James Freud.

  • Ohhhhh James Freud is gorgeous! He looks a bit like Heath Ledger in this clip.

  • Wow, memories here. saw the Models at least 100 times from 79-81, Bananas, martinis, hearts, tiger lounge, kingston, champion, marijuana house, crystal ballroom, the stockade, many years ago when they were famous.

  • @MottTheWot Yer used to see Models every second week back then Tiger lounge ,Richmond/Burnley, small .but a great place to see bands ,Hearts we secretly taped Models there one night before they had any records out , still got the tape .

Remember once we saw them 3 times in one day they played Moomba then The Village Green and finished off at Hearts in Carlton . That was a Models OD LOL .

  • when this song came out, i had already a copy of the Vibrators V1, so yeah, its a rippoff of baby baby....

  • Freud and Kelly so hungry for fame .

Saw Teenage Radio Stars live twice. Plain Radio stars were good live too but they sounded like lollypop shyte on record ?

Modern girl was weak ,IMO .

Pre Freud Models were great, saw them heaps .

All 3 bands had a sort of cult loyal following .

  • Freud and Kelly so hungry for fame, , saw TRS's twice but pre Freud Models were better, IMO saw them live heaps .

  • Not to be confused with the UK punk band The Models (featuring Marco Pirroni).

  • this dude looks strung out

  • I had the 'Lethal Weapon' comp LP in '78 when I was 12! This was the first track on side one and one of the best tracks on the album. From memory track two was TRS as well? Haven't heard this in 30 years. Thanks for posting :o)

  • @solitarywanderer

Well, this songs sounds very much like "Baby Baby Baby" by The Vibrators. Almost a rip off...

  • what did the public think of this band at the time?
