I agree about the religions, they are man made. I choose to follow the bible, that is is my choice. One thing is for sure, if the bible is right (which I believe is) unbelievers will be in alot of trouble in the end. It will be too late when they are gone. And churches don't take money from the gov. , they recieve donations from people (thier choice). If a church is wealthy and not helping people with that money something is wrong.
I respect free choice. But the statement 'unbelievers will be in a lot of trouble in the end', I do not agree with. God should understand that as a human there are many other perceptions of religions, he created us after all, so if we choose not to follow a religion, he's the one that has chosen that path for us.

Note: Sabbath is not Sunday. as what is written in the old testament, on the SEVENTH day God rested and sanctified that day and called it Sabbath.. Also in Exodus 20:10, it is written that 6 days ye shall labor but on the 7th day, ye shall rest. Check your calendar.. the first day is Sunday then Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, SATURDAY. :)

If god loves us surely he can forgive our petty sins, and why would he hate atheists, he may simply change their minds if he is all-powerful, and he created them either way.. the arguement is self defeating, maybe he wanted people to become independant of their father? You are missing the point.
1. He wants us to have a giving heart and help each other. Alot of churches help the poor with that money.
2. He did not make robots, he made us to have a choice. would you rather someone choose to love you or make them?
3. God does not make people commit violent acts, we do that all by ourselves. If someone is commiting a violent act in the name of God, he is NOT a Christian. Anyone can say they are but it's what he does that is proof.

And churches don't take money from the gov. , they recieve donations from people (thier choice). If a church is wealthy and not helping people with that money something is wrong.

God should understand that as a human there are many other perceptions of religions, he created us after all, so if we choose not to follow a religion, he's the one that has chosen that path for us.

I wouldn't be an Atheist if no one argued with me. We would still think the earth was flat and the center of the universe if no one had the balls to argue about it.
You know I quite like the modern world I quite like having plentiful food, knowledge of medicine, low infant mortality, global communication, computers, etcetera. But you know I think things could be better and they aren't going to get any better if we all just sit here and revere the status quo.

It was beautiful I have to admit. And I "believe" in all the things you mention in your video, but still, I don't believe in God. Christianity is just a philosophy of life - and a philosophy with great intentions. Although I don't believe in God, I do like the video - except from all the "God-stuff"

God will also ask how many people you have killed who worked on the sabbath (Hope you didn't work on a Sunday during your life time) as it was his law that you did this, IF you didn't or you worked on Sunday - you're going straight to hell. Did you EVER backchat your parents when you were young? - Disrespecting mother and father - Straight to hell. Why didn't you follow Gods laws in the Old Testament? God is a mean vengeful SOB... Good thing he is IMAGINARY!

Well answer me this god-boy... If 'god' is all powerful then why didn't he (when religion was just beginning back in the dark ages) appear to every civilization on the face of the earth and speak to them to unify all the religions so that they all reflect the one true religion (his) INSTEAD of allowing different religions to pop up all over the planet, you'd think god would be able to do this... unless..HE IS IMAGINARY, sorry for spoiling your day, have fun thinking that over in church.

1. i'm a girl.
2. i don't mind u having ur oppinions, just don't put down others just because you believe ur oppinions are the only ones that are right.
3. i am not too religious myself, i admit, (im more scientific based) and i may doubt and question and such about religion but at least i don't do it with a sour narrow-minded attitude. you can have ur oppinions, just be considerate to others and their beliefs too. thats all. im not bn rude im just asking u to b more polite.

people don't have to believe that he exists it's what he does when we call upon him. every human on this earth that believes there's a god seek his oneness and seek aid from him, most who pray to him get thier responses and those who are innocent are trialed by people to donate and take care of them. bad things happen because they're trial and if you choose the right path you'll have your day.

Well, its YOUR book, NOT mine. (the bible that is) it was (supposedly) written by the "perfect" being who is free from sin, so you'd think 'he' would know, considering he's 'perfect' an' all... And why can't you keep your views to YOURSELF? just because I have an opposing viewpoint does that mean I can't express myself?

@mMusic4life I have been polite. But it seems that most christians are the ones who are rude. They call me all kinds on nasty names when their argument about god fails to 'convert' me to the way of the lord. but I have come to expect that from angry religious zealots. The comment you were quoting was said in jest (as in IF there is a god, I'm doomed - as will EVERY other person who has not followed TO THE LETTER the OLD and NEW testament)

@thedeejus thedeejus, you definitely have a point and you're entitled to your opinion just like any of us are. I want you to choose whether you believe God is imaginary or not, but in the New Testament Jesus said to love God with all your heart and mind and strength, and to love your neighbor as you would like to be loved, and that these were the most important commandments. In the New Testament it says Jesus came to forgive us.

@thedeejus - thedeejus, I urge you to read the New Testament & ask God, if He is real, to reveal Himself to you. This is a matter of eternal life, or eternal death, for you. Is it really worth the chance? I find it sad to hear of those who are not open to God's Word .. Romans 10:13 Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved. Vs.9 if you confess w/your mouth Jesus is Lord & believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

It's most likely because it was intended for a specific time and place. And so Christians today follow the law of Christ(not the old Testament). I'm not criticizing your observation but... given that prophesies and events have occurred, don't you think its time to update your argument as well?

@SmalltimR - God (if he exists) might think that you shouldn't go second guessing HIS law, After all it's suppose to be "perfect". So is this the argument YOU are going to have with the Lord on Judgement day when he asks you why you didn't follow HIS teachings from the OLD testament? I'm very sure that ANY transgression of gods laws will be met with with you being cast down into the firey pit of hell. after all god doesn't like sinners who question his word. you can't pick and choose with god

I'm fairly certain that the recognition of the fulfillment of a biblical prophecy is far from second guessing. And only works if we deny the existence of NT and of course Christ in the process. Which doesn't leave much else to go on tbh.
Secondly... I think the bible makes it quite clear that God invites sinners to learn and question His word as well as put Him to the test. And finally, the fiery hell concept seems like quite a strange practice to uphold imo.

@thedeejus ...and why do you say so? there are SCIENTIFIC evidences that a God exists. Note: Sabbath is not Sunday. as what is written in the old testament, on the SEVENTH day God rested and sanctified that day and called it Sabbath.. Also in Exodus 20:10, it is written that 6 days ye shall labor but on the 7th day, ye shall rest. Check your calendar.. the first day is Sunday then Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, SATURDAY. :)

@moonduster Yes, 9 of of 10 CHRISTIAN "Scientists" agree that a god exists. Any REAL, reputable, Scientist, who doesn't want to be laughed at within the scientific community would disagree with you. Show me this "evidence" and if its better than the transitional fossils we have, if its better than and can stand up to the theory of evolution and if it can be tested under strict control, I might agree with you. You should also read Exodus 31:12-15 NLT.

@t6aeyang I know who this god is, the same god who said wants to kill old men in Jeremiah 51:20-26, the same god who wants to kill children in Leviticus 26:21-22 NLT, the same god who kills babies in Isaiah 13:15-18 NLT, the same god who allows mass murder in 1 Samuel 15:2-3 NAB, the same god who sends his angels to kill in Exodus 23:23 NAB, the same god who kills other religions in Numbers 25:1-9 NLT... This is the God you worship. I pity you. start using that brain you evolved with.

and the example in Isaiah you gave talks about killing babies but not God killing them it says the Medes will kill

God doesn't say you must die for a rediculous sin (working on sunday'S).What happen to the ones that have to feed their families and puts food on the table ? That person helps his family. @p4tst3r That is what your 'good' book says, I didn't make that passage up, the author of that is YOUR GOD, yes the crazy dude who has 'blown a fuse' is god, the same manic you worship and think is loving and peaceful is actually a blood thirsty monster, check out Exodus 22:17 NAB, Leviticus 20:13 NAB, Exodus 21:15 NAB, Leviticus 20:9 NLT, Leviticus 21:9 NAB, 2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB and my favourite Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT - after reading those passages come back on here and say god is love.
