I just checked Article 3 Section 1 vest the judicial power in federal courts, requires a supreme court, allows inferior courts, requires good behavior tenure for judges, and prohibits decreasing the salaries of judges. J. is correct in his assessment that the Justice sees his life & his juris prudence through his personal prism, which he admitted, was very much through the eyes of a man of color, born, reared & educated in the America of his time. Also, unlike the other conservatives, Thomas's juris prudence is impossible to pin down. He's been all over the map. Thom, though, has a point & I think that the House (fat chance!) should proceed with impeachment hearings.
