It was a friendly game u stuck up piece o shit. The tickets were only 17 quid and gave people who don't regularly go to a footy match a chance to see what it was like. As you can see, the main thing was the fact the flag came over during the second half of the chorus, which didnt help. We were surrounded by tourists though. Nightmare. Takin pictures all the way through.

it was an amazeing atmosphere for an friendly i was at the back of the kop and we were bouncin right through the mach gareth barry is ok but hes no way near worth 18mil hes only worth 10 or 11mil at the most in my opinion i would rather buy an world class winger who would unlock defences and whip in decent crosses for el nino an keane if i could choose any winger it would have to be queresma of porto hes some player that lad !

i was in the kop for this game row 62.. atmosphere was wicked ... regarding the gareth barry chants i think it was never aimed at him personally more that we dont want alonso to go. if you put ten boxes of what a central midfielders duties or qualities and compare xabi to gareth then xabi would tick 8 to gareths 2.

Thats true, very true. but i do feel barry would be a good addition to the side. we need the strength up front and barry would be a good backing for that. He is also a very hard working player and has expressed he does want to move to the club, so he would be very valuable. Another aspect of it is Kopites dislike for the 2 Americans. They are currently trying to overall Benitez's decision...which is never wise. Manager knows best.
