I was so disgusted when he did not win Idol but I guess in the end it didn't matter as he has by far surpassed any of the other contestants in his talent . @xentafy You know he hasn't gotten to write any of his own songs yet right? Most of "For your Entertainment" was originally conceptualized as an album for Pink, but she ended up passing it on to Adam Lambert instead. You can especially hear her influence in "Wataya Want from Me" (and she even went ahead and recorded her voice in the final chorus).

Don't get me wrong, Adam Lambert is definitely an amazing singer. I can't wait until he releases an original album so we can get a feel for who he is

@jatteratious Actually Adam co-wrote on 5 of the songs on the FYE album, only 1 song on the album was by Pink which was co-written by Max Martin. There was also a song by Gaga. Adam was most noteable as writer on songs such as Broken Open, Down the Rabbit Hole, and Aftermath, It is a great album, you should by the Glam Nation Live album and CD and you will get a feel for not only his voice, but his amazing performance ability. He is writing more on his new CD out in the fall.

Actually the song was originally by the group Tears for Fears (whose song "Head Over heels" was also included in the Donnie Darko Soundtrack). Gary Jules' version was a cover, just like this one.

I actually really love this version. I've never cared for American Idol, and Adam Lambert never caught my attention before he did this song. It's absolutely gorgeous.
