  • Were did u get the white thing and the metal to plug it in o and the beads cuz my dad can help me don this he built our house so I need to no plz thank u

  • very impressive! but...im not an electronic! lol but yes that will come in handy with American Girl Dolls right?

  • do you seal these?????

  • How in the world do you keep the kids from getting all your little beads? LOL Yes, your crafts are awesome but being around my grand baby and two nephews that part is truly amazing! Ha ha! Keep the videos coming!

  • Hope to see more

  • How cute!

  • where did you get the supplies..like the mini light bulb?

  • Isn't this an expensive hobby? I mean, I love dolls, and would LOVE to make my very own dollhouse and such... But I'm kinda poor; I don't have many money to use for myself (plus I'm trying to save money for a time I wanna move away from home..)

  • @mizyki It does cost money but less than golfing.

  • @GardenOfImagination

okay, thank you for the fast reply :)

  • @mizyki I don't have a lot of money. I started with using old boxes to experiment, polymer clay for furniture and dishes, cardstock, acrylic paints, and cardboard. DON'T wire that, due to fire risk. Once I learned basic skills with what I had around the house, (check kitchen drawers, old jewelry, etc), I went to Jo Ann's and bought a $15 wooden box, and took it from there. My first house maybe cost $25-$50 to make. Just a suggestion.

  • @Tamsyn12003

Thank you very much! What a lovely idea ;D

  • your daughter is soooooo cute!!!

  • Love your work. I am discovering I really enjoy making miniature things. I just completed a paper model of Disney's Phantom Manor. Now I am finding out I am looking for ways to light some areas of the model. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your tutorial. Thank you for sharing.

  • @PhasmataJ Thank you so much! Glad it helped. There are a couple of other lamp videos too, if you are interested. Check ebay to see a lady who creates them to sell. She has some very beautiful designs.

  • I love that song your kid's singing! Bom bom bum bum! Bom bom bum bum! hahah.

  • naawwwww! cute little girl....

  • You make the most Fantastic videos ever!! I love watching your vids, you should check out "modelllichtsysteme's channel" he does good work on 1/18 scale cars lol :P. btw where did you get your L.E.D light?

  • @compound32 Thank you. The light is at hobby lobby.

  • @GardenOfImagination No problem, and alright cool thanks!

  • I love your videos. I am addicted to them. I really love the fact that you share your ideas with everyone. I would love a video on tape wiring a dollhouse. I did mine but some lights won't work. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong

  • @sonogirl12345 Happy to share. Wish I knew the proper way to light a dollhouse.

  • i would so buy that its so cute :)

  • I got so frustrated with the electric tape I just cut the plug off and hard wired my lights with scotch tape as insulator, I didn't know how to pull apart the plug.. until now, next time I'm getting that mini power strip instead of the copper tape.

  • @truemirror Hey... if it works, that's great! Love the mini power strip except I'm constantly blowing the fuses.

  • i love the help, and the way you handle your kids is very fun to watch too... :)

  • Where do u get such a small light bulb? Also how did u figure out to make that I loved it!

  • @krkatelyn Light bulb is at Hobby Lobby. I don't how I learned this... I just made it up.

  • Where can I meet women such as yourself with craft skills?

  • @voon100 Kansas... the most beautiful place on Earth. Besides... we have nothing else to do except dance drunk around bon fires. And that gets old. Well... old until your boyfriend carries you OVER the flames for fun. When a guy does that... and you live... then you end up marrying him.

  • Hi

I love everything you do. I was wondering if you can help me with my lights in my dollhouse. If I am putting scounces or ceiling lights in, I know I can cut the plug and put the wires into the copper tape. But how do I hide the wires if I want the fixture flushed to the wall or ceiling? I would appreciate your help.

    Thanks

  • @sonogirl12345 You can always wall paper it or paint it the color of the wall. I have drilled tiny holes in the walls to run the cord down and also used that silly putty type white stuff they use to hold up posters to run the cord along walls and down to the plug.

  • WOW your videos are really cool to watch even though I dont have a doll house! :D

  • where do you buy a dollhouse like the one on your video during december 2009?

  • Hobby Lobby

  • 0:32 - Lays down THE LAW!!

  • Wow. I truley wish i had a thinking cap like you... So so very talented! =)

  • Thank you very much. I'm never sure what to say to nice comments like this. I just get all shy and feel like the nerdy kid that I used to be in high school. And I was THE nerd of all high school! lol

  • Goodness, I wish I was a nerd. ....But i'm not i don't take my time to figure anything out lol. But anywayzz your welcome! :-D

  • hi - great video

do these little bulbs come in candle-like shapes?

  • yes

  • wat r u talking about? xD

  • very pretty light could you please tell me what size bead caps did you use?

  • I don't even know. But I did find them on Ebay under "filigree" items.

  • what is the 12 volt called

  • It's just the 12 volt wiring system in the miniature dollhouse section at Hobby Lobby. I don't know what it's called beyond that. Sorry.

  • where did you get the 12 volt

  • Hobby Lobby

  • Is that sound like the video you have for your dollhouse 2009? lol

Thanks for your reply Angela, I am working on the one you teach us from the video, but I still not get the light yet...I can't find it anywhere in HK~~~ I will show you when I finish it, npw I just made one layer in the middle.

Um.. I want to see the round one..I think that's cute.

  • They are made the same way. Just thread the wire through the center hole and hang beads on it. It will be years before I get around to making more lights probably.

  • BTW, Angela, can you plase show me the other light parten? I can't see them clearly..

  • Sure... but what light are you wanting to see?

  • my fingers are so painful working on the beans...and I feel that's so diffcult to close the hook to holding on the cap...

  • Oh I know! My fingers would hurt so much! But the final result is truly a work of art. So pretty. And breathtaking the first time you flip the switch and the light comes on! You'll feel like a kid in a candy shop. lol

  • can the beads get burned?

  • In the oven but not from the tiny light.

  • oh ic :O that's good then :3

  • oh...garden-of-imagination. it doesn't work on my cpu...anyway, great vid. you should show more on how to make other things. thanks.

  • My web page is down right now. Sorry.

    Angela

  • Hey uh, where can you buy these things? I mean the 12-volt light bulb, with cord, and plug in thing? Plus the bead around the light, and the top of the chandelier, and the little beads. well i know i can get the little hanging beads at Dollarama, but the other stuff. make more videos! and whats your site? btw, i live in canada, so maybe there isn't a store here with those things. if so, plz tell me! thanks alot.

  • I get ALL my stuff at Hobby Lobby except the top of the chandelier. I get that on ebay. Go to ebay and do a search for "stampings". You'll find some. They are about $4 USD each... plus shipping. Though I've just found that the flat stampings that are at Hobby Lobby can be bent into a curved shape. I'll do a video about it.

    Angela

  • That's really pretty!

  • yay you made a web site! when did you make it?

  • A couple of years ago.

  • do the metal tips fit into a normal outlet?

  • No. There is a strip it plugs into and that strip will plug into a normal outlet. Look near the beginning of the video to see it.

    Angela

  • then try moon sand it sticks and never dries out

  • where do u get your beads???

  • Ebay is a place to get lots of beads for less than you generally find at the stores. Sometimes walmart has the swarovski crystals on sale but most times ebay is the least expensive.

    Angela

  • This is so cool i hope i get to make one!

  • Just take your time with it and have fun!

    Angela

  • do u make the doll house stuff for ur daughters?

  • I started making miniatures to feed my own addiction to tiny things. But since she's been around, she claims much of my creations.

    Angela

  • That is great that ur making things for u daughter. u dont have to buy anything u just have to make them. -thats a good thing-

    have a happy spring

    ~vivian~

  • Thank you. You still have to purchase all the parts, but it does cost less.

    Angela

  • yeah and i loved the kiwi one i tryed making it it turned out good and also i tryed with playdo it turned out bad because it dried and it would not stick i did that and it all fell all apart :( and i bought some of ur clay it worked awesome

  • Playdo bites. Glad you gave polymer clay a try. I love that it never dries out. Because I'm slow. lol

    Angela

  • You are a very "giving" artist.

I love the addition of your "helpers"!

    Thank you so much! Dottie

  • Thank you. So many people on the internet have helped me, I think it's time to give back.

    Angela
