@urukhey England has always been eating a variety of food. Apart from Roast Dinner (similar to what most eat on Christmas) and the good old English fry-up, England has no national dishes. We have been going crazy for foreign food for ages. Mostly Indian and Chinese food.

Been to London a few times... I don't live too far, it's like 2 and a half hours away on the train from where I live, but I don't get to go too often. I'll be going twice this year though. It's amazing. I love London so incredibly much. My ultimate goal is to move there once I'm old enough and have the money.

London is a great city, but it's full of mainland europeans, asians, australians, americans, aficans and so on. There are very little in the way of British people who live, work and/or study there. Edinburgh in Scotland is just becoming the same.
Every city and town has its share, but London and Edinburgh are deff the two cities with the most immigrants. Glasgow which is just an hour drive away is slowly becoming the same like other major UK cities.
London is one of the largest cities in the world so it is only expected to have great diversity. Its a shame that certain stereotypes about certain types of people give bad perceptions about places like London. The people living there aren't ruining it, they are simply living there. The simple fact that there are so many people living there make it harder to maintain and keep safe. London is the most expensive city in the world, so trust me you aren't gonna have just anyone hanging around there.

I were in London a few days ago. An absolutely fantastic city. I saw lion king at the lyceum theatre. The best play ive ever seen. I also love Covent garden. So much life and people. London is the best city i have ever visited.

@dimflamingo I just spent 4 months working in London and I saw a shit load of English patrons working at many of the establishments. It's a multicultural city no doubt, but that's what makes it a GLOBAL city. If it was 100% white English it wouldn't have the world allure or tourism it has now.

The rating is based on how many people in that country achieve higher education, but it omits the level of knowledge you must have to achieve the university degree. I know many people that say that education in england is horrible. You don't even need to pass all grades to finnish primary school. You better check what it is based on before you say that your education is best. They don't compare knowledge, they compare amount of degrees.

People have lost morale because of the government, why don't you buy a ticket and come over here and see what life is really like? Not just pretty London and nice shops. Britain provides MOST countries in the G.C.C ect.. with the IGCSE's and Curriculum. So compared to USA, It wins by 110%.

I actually have friend that came to england to make IGCSE and she said that it was stuff that she was taught at age 12 in her homeland, she said it was like for idiots. We have more than three feet on the ground and are expecting more on Monday. Also, re your question on London weather, this winter has been one of their worst ever, with most of England covered in snow. It has also been extremely cold there this winter, so except for the hurricanes, I think your weather in Pensacola is preferable.

@urukhey England has always been eating a variety of food. Apart from Roast Dinner (similar to what most eat on Christmas) and the good old English fry-up, England has no national dishes. We have been going crazy for foreign food for ages. Mostly Indian and Chinese food.
And yes, the immigration means that London is practically a world inside a city. It is so diverse. But on the other hand immigrants have brought pain. London is going downhill. Kings Hospital sees atleast one stab victim a day.

Been to London a few times... I don't live too far, it's like 2 and a half hours away on the train from where I live, but I don't get to go too often. I'll be going twice this year though. It's amazing. I love London so incredibly much. My ultimate goal is to move there once I'm old enough and have the money.

London is a great city, but it's full of mainland europeans, asians, australians, americans, aficans and so on. There are very little in the way of British people who live, work and/or study there. Edinburgh in Scotland is just becoming the same.
Every city and town has its share, but London and Edinburgh are deff the two cities with the most immigrants. Glasgow which is just an hour drive away is slowly becoming the same like other major UK cities.

London is one of the largest cities in the world so it is only expected to have great diversity. Its a shame that certain stereotypes about certain types of people give bad perceptions about places like London. The people living there aren't ruining it, they are simply living there. The simple fact that there are so many people living there make it harder to maintain and keep safe. London is the most expensive city in the world, so trust me you aren't gonna have just anyone hanging around there.

I were in London a few days ago. An absolutely fantastic city. I saw lion king at the lyceum theatre. The best play ive ever seen. I also love Covent garden. So much life and people. London is the best city i have ever visited.

London is no longer British after mass immigration over the last few decades. It's a shame as it was a magnificent city, the capital of the largest empire the world has ever seen. If you visit the tourist attractions, don't expect to see any British people working there. All of those jobs are taken by South Asians and Eastern Europeans. The labour government has allowed London to be overrun by foreigners. Don't vote labour ever again.

@dimflamingo For centuries, London has been a city of immigrants. Also, London was built up by the Romans, ie t foreign conquerers! London attracts 'immigrants' from all over the UK. And if locals don't want to do menial jobs, of course East Europeans will do it. You mention Empire - many who live in London will be descendants of those from the Empire who gave their lives for liberty and democracy and the King in the world wars. Have a bit of respect.

@dimflamingo I just spent 4 months working in London and I saw a shit load of English patrons working at many of the establishments. It's a multicultural city no doubt, but that's what makes it a GLOBAL city. If it was 100% white English it wouldn't have the world allure or tourism it has now.
London is still VERY English, at least from the working experience I had there.

The rating is based on how many people in that country achieve higher education, but it omits the level of knowledge you must have to achieve the university degree. I know many people that say that education in england is horrible. You don't even need to pass all grades to finnish primary school. You better check what it is based on before you say that your education is best. They don't compare knowledge, they compare amount of degrees.

People have lost morale because of the government, why don't you buy a ticket and come over here and see what life is really like? Not just pretty London and nice shops. Britain provides MOST countries in the G.C.C ect.. with the IGCSE's and Curriculum. So compared to USA, It wins by 110%.

I actually have friend that came to england to make IGCSE and she said that it was stuff that she was taught at age 12 in her homeland, she said it was like for idiots. My other friend has a cleaning company in england and when he has a teambrief with manager who is british, he must help her with most simple maths when she counts results. I know of many other examples.

Furthermore, if our education is so terrible, why don't we follow some Eastern European curriculum, or Romanian? Why are the best Universities in Britain, like Cambridge and Oxford. You can give me many examples, but i can retaliate with twice as much. Were the 2nd/3rd richest country in Europe. Immigrants make up 10% of the UK. You do the maths.

Teachers and his mates were stunned by his knowledge and considered him to be a genius so he skipped few grades. BUt he was just an average student in his homeland. But what you are taught in england at 15 in some other countries people are taught at 12. That's a fact.

The list of best universities is based on how many articles of professors of certain university are written in magazines Nanional geographic, Science, New scientist and such. They are all founded and led by english or americans so what do you expect? You are certainly nor 2/3. richest countries. There are many more rich. Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Austria, France and so on. Lists of universities doesn't prove anything. Knowledge of people is important and it's horrible in britain.

But we were talking about something different before. My friend that has the cleaning company offers jobs for english of course. But mostly when some english come to work for the first time and finds that he must work, he decides to quit the job. My friend says that it happens often. Sometimes they don't even tell him thet they quit, they just don't come next day and that's it. Great attitude. And I am not from eastern Europe, with your english schooling you wouldn't even know where it is.

im probally heading that way in a few day's. Im going to morocco in a few day's to see my father and were going all over europe for my spring break wich is 3 and a half week's long. So i cant wait.

Great video!!I wish i could live in England i dream about it actually to bad im a 18yo living in Pensacola,Florida in U.S.A...I daydream about living there daily how is the weather conditions in Doncaster/London through out the year?

Hi Legend, I got a kick out of your comment because I heard on the news today that the Florida Panhandle got about a 1/2 inch of snow! I'll trade you! We have more than three feet on the ground and are expecting more on Monday. Also, re your question on London weather, this winter has been one of their worst ever, with most of England covered in snow. It has also been extremely cold there this winter, so except for the hurricanes, I think your weather in Pensacola is preferable.

lol thanks for your reply we hardly ever get snow last time was like 13 years ago Florida is always sunny and has very nice weather the only bad year was when we were hit by like 4-5 hurricanes..I still dream about being over there i wish i could trade you lol :P...I guess i don't really care for Florida cause i was born here :/.Thanks for the info and reply though i appreciate it :)
