Has everybody forgotten Mark Madden in WCW? Maybe it's because he was so bad that we all want to forget, or we don't consider him to be a real announcer.
I kinda like the commentator. He at least gets their name right and for some reason hegives it an air of authenticity. He doesent go into hyperbole mode like wwe commentators do and isnt screaming the house down but he does get in to it. enjoyable match complimented by the commentary.

A backdrop suplex and a belly to back are not the same thing because they start with different locks. Then, the german suplex has you pulling the opponent back OVER your head from a waist lock.. the Back Drop suplex has you lifting the opponent by his leg and waist with his arm over your shoulder and then DROPPING him backwards. Completely diferent moves.
Besides, SHOW me a belly to back suplex and I'll call it by its correct name. CASE CLOSED DAMMIT.

brainbuster isn't japanese. backdrop suplexes don't have to go up and down. look up a saito suplex which is a variation of a belly to back suplex. or a back drop driver.

I agree. People overlook the true worst announcer of all time..mainly because he used to be one of the best..Jesse Ventura's WCW run in 1992-1993 is arguably the Worst commentary of All time. You gotta watch a show to believe it. All he did was say incredibly inane shit, make horrid jokes, and didn't have one clue about the product or anything. Good point. His WWF run showed more enthusiasm. I'd also say the same thing about Bobby Heenan. He just seemed so out of place in WCW, and wasnt exactly a heel announcer anymore like he was in the WWF. He was just 'there' pretty much.

don west isn't a bad commentator. he's annoying. there's a difference. while west might get on your last nerve just by the way he talks, hes talking about the match and getting the names right. other the other hand, a bad commentator would just say random puns and limericks all whilst stuttering and getting everything from the names of the wrestlers to the names of the moves wrong. i'm looking at you ADAMLE
