  • Yeah, this is so new age way of making cooking videos, camera is sooooo cool and close up, Chef Ramsay is so important and he is in hurry, and everything is freakin super... The only problem is that you have to press pause 1000000000000000 times to get the recipe..

  • @kukidoe1 Yea thats fine. You might wanna throw in a bit of amaretto or another 'coffee' liquer.

  • it will certainly taste good, but I am Italian and this is not how I have always seen tiramisù being made and how I make it, as others have already pointed out; when I made it I used eggs and not cream

  • @STRmw2 Why did it mess up? you need to put just the yolk ot he egg. One spoon of sugar for each yolk.... than u mix the yoks and the sugar and you add mascarpone (no cream!!!! no cream holy heaven!!). thats it. so easy. so good.

    at first i made it and thought it was a bit too sweet

    and then i left it in the fridge overnight and the next day i could see egg yolk at the bottom as if it hadnt been mixed in at all

    i thought i followed the recipe perfectly :S

    i had some at a restaurant and i think they used cream, im just trying to replicate what i ate there because it was soo good

  • @STRmw2 so strange.... i mean tiramisu is like the easiest recipe of the world, it just takes 10 minutes to make it, and i never heard of someone having problem wit yoks, If u mix them with the mascarpone and the sugar you'll have a cream, its impossible that they go on the bottom. Maybe you should go to some restaurants in Veneto, where tiramisu was invented

  • Normally love Gordon but a few comments on this one.Where's the liqour for the coffee. I might try add the marsala in the but my mom whose from Italy always has me mix a little kahlua with the expresso (not normal coffee).Also I never seen it served in a martini glass. I serve mine in a tray like a cake.
