I read an article that said of all of the songs on all of the jukeboxes in the US were tallied. The song that was played the most was Crazy by Patsy Cline.
My favorite female country singer of all time! I used to sing this at karaoke. Want to go back someday. <3 When I tell my friends about her they don't even know who it is haha. A legend she is....
@confuse you must be very young darlin',some day you Will love this. I used to think the same thing about Nat King Cole (had to listen to it, my Dad thought he was the shit). Now, I think ole' Nat's is the most romantic crooner of all time. BTW I'll be 50 nextyear. ;)
Patsy's original vocals on this track were recorded in August 1961. The music here was re-recorded in stereo with many of the original musicians in 1984 and then remixed in 1985.
@SirBasildeBrush - This was re-recorded in digital stereo for the soundtrack "Sweet Dreams." That's why it sounds so pristine and beautiful. Her vocals were taken from the original MCA Master track.
@TerminallyPsychotic but you have to agree with me i no and you know that she has very smooth full shiny kissable lips i love and you also love to taste the thickness and smoothness of her lovely lip juices
@tapdancegirl88 My grandma was best friends with Patsy, and my mother adored her. After she died my mother would sing crazy to my grandmother all the time. my mother was an amazing singer and id hope I got some talent from her.
But the point is, She may be gone, but be respectful. She was a person like anybody else.
This was my grandmother's favorite song. She sang it all the time while we sat and talked on the front porch. Everytime I hear this I think of you and those talks. I miss you and love you. Thanks Patsy for bringing joy to my grandmother, RIP to you both
great song.like all kinda music my latest find theBLACK KEYS check them out they won't disappoint.recorded latest cd in muscle shoals,al where so many greats before them have
I've been listening to this for close to 50 years now, I like it better now than way back then. Time has proven that no one can sing it like Patsy, this woman had it together when she cut loose on a song.
I used to manage a small restaraunt in the midwest. 5 o'clock every morning the waitresses would play this on the jukebox as they got the tables set and the coffee going. This is a great song to wake up to, and have your first cup of coffee. We would slow dance to this while setting up tables and being silly. Great memories! Great song! Didn't think so as a kid, but those country girls got me hooked on this song.
@KaBoomBang Recently I acquired one of the only remaining 78rpm Decca pressings of this song and placed it on my restored 1947 Wurlitzer model 1015 jukebox. I have been collecting and restoring jukes for 35 years and I never sell them. My one dream was to hear this song on this specific jukebox in its purest and authentic format. Feel free to see and hear it on my You Tube site under jukeboxeddie. It absolutely doesn't get better than that!
Saw "Crazy" live version , here on YT with Diana Krall on piano, Willie Nelson and Elvis Costello singing. It's still standing after all those years.(just like Wilie) .
Never forget Patsy Cline! My favoritt! I love here , ! allways in my mind! :-)
