We are blessed in the USA with immense wealth. The price of gasoline affects the well being of just about everyone on Earth. Much of the world lives in dire poverty. Higher gasoline prices means millions of people will starve to death & millions more will be malnourished & die early.
It's time to develop oil resources in the USA & everywhere else. When Obama was elected, the price of gasoline averaged about $2 a gallon nationwide.
Back in 2008 I bought a 60mph/80mpg scooter for just this situation. I can commute all week on a gallon of gas if I have to. I can even throw 2 bags of groceries in the two storage compartments. I haven't driven it for a year (other than starting it once every couple weeks). but it's ready for me when I need it.
Obama & is his supporters want higher gasoline prices. Obama's Energy Secretary, Steven Chu is on recording saying gasoline should be $10 a gallon. The USA economy is being destroyed as planned by Obama & his cronies.
They bring the prices up cause they know we will just keep buying it. If it goes up so high that we buy less then thats good for them too. They will just be making the same amount of money for less production and cost. They never loose. We are so dependent on oil that we dont know how to function without it. They dont fear us in any way. They dont care if you or I buy less. Someone will always be there to buy it.
