  • LOL 80S

  • So sad that most of those Cadillac old cars you see on the road are rusty ol raggety fallen apart cars.

  • I was only between 6 months -1 year old baby.

  • omg bob flashed us @ 1:57 lmao double wardrobe malfunction

  • would have been cool if they still used celebration as the ending theme til 91

  • ah shit the line where Outkast talks about the 77 Seville in Playa's Ball so fits the clip @ 1:16 yes I know 81 but same pimp style

  • New Year's episode?

  • Dang I couldn't tell that was Bob Barker at first!

  • hahahhahah

  • 1:49 To skip to the actual wardrobe malfunction. Your welcome.

  • iS THAT THE FIRST $20,000+ showcase?

  • Bob had a vested interest in covering her up. He was knocking the bottom out that for several years before switching over to yet another showcase girl. People forget that the sweet little old gray-haired man that encouraged us to spay our pets was his generation's Charlie Sheen (minus the "attacking hookers in hotel rooms while coked-up" thing of course)

  • @starstarstar42 He probably tapped a good majority of them. So what's the big deal about that?

  • The Price Is Right sign pulled down her top!

  • SAVE THE TA-TAS!

  • I hated that the shows from 1980-1996 had the credits on the crawl screen. If I was them, I would've pulled a "Family Feud" 1982-1985 and had the credits chyroned. My ideal font: the one seen on "Late Night with David Letterman" from around this time.

  • I just think it awesome that they're playing "Celebration".

  • 1:08 *total winnings flashing as I sing this*

So bring your good times and your laughter too. We're going to celebrate a party with you come on now... 1:18 and right on down the golden road of this moment. Great clip.

  • I guessing that winner had to donate $2,456 towards charity because the limit of any CBS game show before late 1984 was $25,000.

  • @tyrese3745 not quite. You were required to be "retired" as a champion, but you kept what you won that day. PYL and Pyramid had $25K+ winners all the time, including Michael Larson. TPIR did not have champions, so that's a moot point for that show.

  • Hell, Johnny Olson was the "double showcase" winner on that taping!

  • Gosh, there's nothing like a tall glass of Holly!

  • 1:53 ha ha. Johnny got a free shot! funny! I guess the credits stopped at the right time, sure saved CBS from getting a hefty FCC fine.

  • I love how Johnny just laughs at her and Bob is the one covering her with his suit.

  • What gorgeous gowns there wearing!

  • LOL, that was pretty good, Bob stepped right up to the plate and covered her up, great!

  • @75capriceconvertible And a nice, snazzy Botany 500 "Saturday Night Fever/Tony Manero" special suit Bob wore. Eat your heart out, John Travolta.

  • this was their 10th year

  • @IceManNJD 9th.

  • Pause at 1:52! Then you will see.

  • Surprised Dian's tits didn't come popping out as well because she also had some huge ones....

  • in the same date where yolanda lose his tube top also theresa

  • Bob was a great looker back then. He still is today. Not in a gay sort of way. Gonna always miss him. I only see the new Price is rights on Youtube not on Tv. Bob was the best and they coulda got someone better like Jaleel White or someone with more class.

  • LMDBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • All you guys are old me too...

  • Didn't see a damn thing!

  • 1:52 - Just as 'The Price is Right' logo is almost wiped from the screen, you'll see it.

  • @Tyrone181 And also at 1:10 she almost loses an ear ring.

  • Warms my heart to see Johnny Olsen doing his part to protect the audience. Congratulaions to all involved.

  • The woman in silver is too tall to be Dian

  • The woman in silver IS Dian. Janice is in the red, Holly in black.

  • The lady in silver, Dian, also had a WM? So both commnets would be correct.

  • The girl in the silver dress..oops. What an awesome show this was, I grew up on this show, ahh the days of sitting home watching people bid for prizes and play plink-o. :)

  • What a rare clip! Before the "spayed and neutered speech!" When did that start anyway? I remember the first time I heard it but cannot remember when it was.

  • It was after his wife Dorothy Jo died in October of 1981.

  • wow, a $23,000 Showcase back when CBS had a $25,000 limit? gheez, what was in the showcase?

  • A Cadillac Coupe de VIlle, a Jukebox, plus some other stuff which I can't remember off the top of my head.

  • at 1:04 holly lost an earring, at 1:20 she had to tug at the dress.

  • They offered a $23,000+ showcase back then. wow

  • lol geez that and janet jackson at super bowl 38 are the best in CBS history

  • Bob Barker is the best...lol

  • Is it considered a wardrobe malfunction if a MAN gets an "erection" in public? :&

  • @jeopardywatcher its the pleats... im taking them back to the pants store

  • @jeopardywatcher only if the pants rip cause of it.....lol!

  • @jeopardywatcher yes if the button pops off the fly of his boxers while forgetting to zip up his pants after leaving the mens room. ah I'm blind LMAO

  • Yeah, all they play now is generic music with the jukeboxes.

  • They should've played more popular songs like that at the end of some of the TPiR episodes.

  • please erase my dian comment. It was Janice in the red.

  • DAMNNN the girl int he red was like HELL YAH.

  • bob looks great

  • Yes, I still do think Yolanda was the only one to lose her top on this show. Got a problem with that? :-P J/K. These occurances aren't as rare on TV these days as they once were, if it were to happen now, it would be considered ordinary. :-)

  • The contestant should "Celebrate"! I really wish that i could remove that comment about dian, (which i regret posting). The dresses are beautiful. I think TPIR no longer required Miss Ashlee's services after this episode! Holly will make you forget that pugly yolanda!

  • A $23,000 showcase back then? WOW!

  • Miss Ashlee didn't do a good job w/holly's dress!

  • why were they playing "celebrate" as the ending anyway?

  • As WilLWatchAnything mentioned in any early post, "Celebrate" was one of the songs on the jukebox offered in her showcase.

  • a jukebox was one of the prizes the contestant won. And also, she was on of the biggest winners of the time, reason to "celebrate".

  • March 17 1981 I played the Grocery Game bought 27 packs of gum and won. My tape got stolen off a UHaul in Tulsa.

  • sorry about the dian comment, but it was Holly that had the WM, and one other thing. She looks better than Yolanda!

  • Comment removed

  • I wish the person who posted this had shown us the enitre showcase she won...I actually remembered this episode from when I was 8 years old, and would have enjoy seeing her showcased described by Johnny. All 3 party dresses were part of her showacse also. Any chance of posting the enitre showcase?

  • I think I know where to find it I'll look and post it when I can.

  • It's now posted as my latest video.

  • rrunner, sorry, but it was Holly Hallstrom who had the 'wardrobe malfunction'..NOT Dian..

  • I wish they show endings like this again they celebrate for a minute instead of cutting the show.

  • They were gettin' down. The only thing missing was the Soul Train Line---lol

  • celebrate

  • Why didn't Bob tell us to get our pets spayed or neutered?

  • He didn't start saying that until aorund 1985 or so.

  • haha

  • That's an lol way of putting it. IDK why you got all those thumbs down though.

  • @WillWatchAnything I guess 1983, because there was a clip of a closing TPIR episode that had Bob saying his closing speech.

  • @pspguy28 he started doing that after his wife died, who was a huge animal activist. It was in respect for her, and her work.

  • @pspguy28 After he was neutered...

  • @pspguy28 because that was before he started saying it. that was the 80s so they probably didn't have as many pets as there are now

  • @pspguy28 why didn't he also advise people to do the same oh wait Carlos Mencia took care of that 25 years later lol

  • @pspguy28 Yeah, exactly when did he first start saying that?

  • From what I hear, Barker spent a lot of time "covering" some of his model's bodies, if you know what I mean

  • haha nice suit Bob, the 80's were good

  • It was Dian Parkinson who had the wardrobe malfunction.

  • Go Johnny Go! Go! Go Johnny Go! Go!

  • That's probably when Bob started dating her.

  • By dating, you mean banging right?

  • gr8 song at the generic

80's was a real KOOL AND THE GANGZ era for america

  • Why does it say she won a car when she clearly won a boat?

  • huh? looks like a car to me

  • Uhm... "'Boat' can refer to one of the large cars manufactured in America from the 1950s through the 1970s." <- My trusty friend Wiki put into words better than I could have. :)

  • haha. If I had known the comment was that lame, I never would've replied to it. Oh, and your "trusted friend" is never a valid site for academic papers, keep that in mind! lol

  • I wish they still played this song.

  • They played this song because a jukebox with this song in it was one of the prizes she won.
