Also, I'm from the UK and there's LOADS of places in the UK that are pronunced differently to their spelling. I guess the way you pronunce words depends on your accent and where you were brought up. I mean I pronunce "can't" as car-nt, whereas I predict you pronunce it cya-nt. Neither is wrong in that example, they're regional differences.
