  • this kinda looks like the dance of the ewe people in ghana

  • afiamanuwats, this is because the Ewe people of Ghana and the Igbo are actually connected.

I study ancient and recent Black African history and many groups of Black Africans are connected.

  • nooo noo, igbo people are connected to no other tribe or ethnic group in Africa, why is it that igbo language is spoken only in igbo and no other place in the whole world. Unlike Hausa and yoruba where ethnic groups from other countries speak

  • ama

are u saying they are europeans or americans?

    take it easy,

as africans we share alot in common:

    cultures

    traditions

    fate

may be the way we tackle things,,,,,,,,,

    long live africa

  • great dancing by the way!

  • I was born & raised here in the states, but I take pride in my igbo hertage.

I hate I wasn't able to make the trip to Nigeria this year. I typically go EVERY christmas to see my family there..

  • Look at how the dude sitting in the chair is looking at her, like a piece of meat.

  • He's not.. only in America do you men look at little girls like that. Maybe it is you who see her as a piece of meat.

  • Haba! No be so. Everywhere there are men who perv young girls. Africa has its fair share also. Only difference between here and America is that in parts of Africa it is legal and socially acceptable for old men to take young girls as a "wife". In America you get jail.

  • Nne na you biko. Make sure you don't snatch other girls' husband or boyfriend with this your well-curved shape. Keep it up babe.

My girlfriend is from the town and women has that strength to drag a man so far. Well, I heard that Pami is dead the though I cannot get his real name..I wish I can get the video clip of Umu Udu bunch or Pami where they played this music well. I love Igba music cos it always potray our culture here in Europe and also where we come from.

  • Umu Nne M.This Music was played By Supremo, from Aninwede street New Layout Enugu.Igwa Nshi Eke was the origin of the song,However,Supremo and Winners Cultural band has changed the tone of the music.Every young person in Enugu state likes the Music.I Pray Supremo,Ede Nwa Mpo and the Umu Udu Bunch keep it up.Enugu State Ndi Obi Oma.We're going to lead all other Igbo People.Whether they like it or not.Let's watch and see.

BTW, this music does NOT belong to either Udu bunch or Chiedu Orieke, This song is played every yr, during Igwa Nshi (Abia Nshi) festival of the indigenes of Eke in Udi local government Enugu state. it pre dates Chiedu Orieke and Palmy, ppl are just making money off it cause it happens to be very popular festival. I come from that part of the world, so this ain't heresay..

  • Well said Nnaa, this is pure 'Abi Nshi' stuff.

    .Ekiji tchuetekwe n'anyi k'eeli, ik'ejetete olie egede, a k'm ejetete olie egede.......'

  • Igba Une by Palm Udu bunch Traditonal music from Enugu state, also check out Uwa bu Aja by the same group, this tune was rocking Enugu and ala - igbo xmas 07, it was dedicated to Afam Aneke (their lead singer) aka palmy who died in okada accident last year. Palmy Nwa RIP

  • This Music was played by Supremo[Chinedu Orieke] From Ohafia, but born and brought up in Enugu., WINNERS cultural Band and not pammy udu bunch.Pammy played similar music. However,Supremo released this music months before pammy relased Igba Une.the music is good.

  • lovely, i can dance like that too lol

where can one find this music, it's great

  • Ibos are Biafrans, we are not linked to Hell Hole called Nigeria.

    Up Biafrans !!! Down Nigerians.

  • Ara bukwe yi...

I'm proud to be Igbo too, but I hate it when overly-tribalistic people like you try to shit on other tribes and countries. I bet you're the type of person to call black people akata and then complain about racism in the same breath.

  • Lmao... so true. I've heard so many people do that ("Akatas"....... lmao!)

We igbos are a people. We're not defined by a flag. People need to stop using our heritage for political propaganda.

  • thugacation89,

You can claim igbo, maybe by birth, but one thing is for sure,...your lack of patriotism clearly pronounced you as one of those misguided and confused bunch of parasites.

    Ifajuna was igbo too..remember?

I suggest you read up on what makes an igbo man an igbo man, before you embarrass yourself. "you shameless prick"

  • lantamanta, there's no need for such insults. What has gotten into Igbo people that some of them have resulted to abject insults and display of venomous hate towards people? thugacation89's response did not warrant such negative, unhealthy and nonconstructive communication. Though "thugacation89" was a bit off in his view of "overly-tribalistic" idea, all it need was a response which corrected his/her wrong views; Not insults.

  • jantamanta,

Thank you for reminding the pig what it takes to an igbo man. He should suck it up!! Fake onye igbo!! Eze ure!!

  • thank you my brother/sister and keep your head up.

We are strong, We are Brave, We are the IGBOS! Love us or hate us we are 2nd to none.

  • Shut up!!thugacation89. akata does not connote bad image. it is just to differentiate between african-born blacks and american-born blacks for crying out loud. Holy Nweje, anuofia!!!

  • what the hell are you talking about.. I am igbo, but i undertand the complexity of globalized politics to know that being Nigerian as well as being igbo is not a bad idea at all. People like you should never be allowed too get into Nigerian politics, much less represent igbo's on any level. shame on you.

  • wow she was getting it. Get it gurl. Love my Igbos from Igbanke - Afikpo- Ekpafia- Aro. Biafra kwenu.
