  • @korkingma Nikko Evolution are not toys. They are something between toy and beginner model. I, of course, saw some tamiyas in the toy store but I don't know this was a die-cast model or a real RC car. I usually plan to make contests between local kids and teens using tuned nikko evolutions and base tamiya TT01s

  • @korkingma And these cost like 30 bucks. Whatever, fool.

  • yep you are correct nikko rc cars are just toys but so is tamiya yokomo and hpi, those rc cars are toys too...

  • these are just toys

  • Sure.

    If I don't want a toy, I have my 1/1.

  • @chrisrm50 I hate when everybody calls nikko toys. Nikko has an Evolution Pro series I love it. Yokomo and HPI we don't have at toy stores. They are a hobby grade models, but can be good for educating kids how to drive a real car. We also don't have Nikkos at toy stores, our selection is so poor: only stupid chinese toys or professional gas-powered 1/5 models which I hate. I love only Nikkos and hobby-grade models.

  • its true

  • Sure they are... and for those who doesn't want to spend more than that amount of money... ;)

  • Hey nice vid Jmddesign ..... I thought Nikko Super Evos were only 2WD chassis

I have a Nikko Super Evolution 2WD Impreza, that I bought in the UK .... do you think 2WD would also be capable of that kind of drifting ....

I know the Nikko Speed control is very sensitive so, I suspect its incredibly hard... what do you think?

  • Hi. Nice car. I've one of those too, bought them before this 4wd.

It's really hard, to drift with a 2wd. It does very nice spinings and stuff, but drifting around a corner is really hard.

It's possible to sliding hem a litlle, but not perfect drift.

Not saying its impossible, but hard. :D

In the 1:1 cars, its just enought RWD to do it right, but the RC's cars have diferent weight distribution, traction, balance, etc.

    Regards.

  • um yea you can drift like that i have a 15 dollar one and i can do that with 2wd

  • yee you can drift with that car.i have the same car and nikko skyline r34 gtr in 1/18 scale and im drifting well.its hard to controll but with litle work u can do evrything

  • really, I do, would yuo send me one of this, man, I pay!! or an online site that sells, man, that's great, thanks!! and what word do you wanna speak or know?

  • What I said, was... since you live in Brazil, you could speech Portuguese. I don't know any on-line shop that seel this car. But there is a lot of them that seel's better cars, like Tamiyas, Yokomo's and soo on.

  • hey guy, why wouldnt you send me one of this, I give you my adress in Brazil, some people in here dont believe that!!

  • If you live in Brazil, you spech Portuguese no?

Well, yeah, there are some people that doesn't know that nikko has a 4wd car.

I bought them in a Super Market called E'Leclerc. But, I think Tamiya TT-01, and similar are better, because they has up-ups and upgrade parts.

  • hey, guy, i live in brazil and I wanna know where do I find one of that at your country, thats coll!!

  • drift feeling? wtf? it is a toy!

  • It could be, but it's similar to Tamiya TT-01, its 4wd too, and 1/10 scale. Soo...

I think your idea about nikko is a litle bit out of date.

Obviously, when we talk about nikko, the word "toy" cames to mind.

Now, if u said that because we can just feel the drift, doing it with a 1/1 car. It obvious.

But I was talking about RC Drift Feeling, comparing it to other brands.

    Regards.

  • freak

  • What u mean?

  • jm design por acaso n es do minituner??

  • Sou sim. ;)

  • nikko sucks!!!!

  • yeah. Sure.

  • its realy big sh*t tamia or hpi or yokomo drifter are 1000x beter this if fuc**ng boring drift for small kids

  • Ho yeh? 1st - In this video the car has the worst engine. I mean, in my 2nd video the car already has the speed engine by nikko that came whith the car.

2nd - Every body says that this nikko is much faster than for example the tamya tt-01!

Of-course i knows isn't very good for upgrades, but it's a "war machine"! LOL

  • I had a race between my cars... Tamiya TL-01 and Nikko Pro Evolution just guess wich won...

  • were did you buy the car i want one really really bad :D

  • what model is that car and can it drift out of the box or did u do something to the car

  • It's stock. It already came with some drift parts. Just plug and play! :D

Its a nikko, a cheap model, but very funny to start a drift feeling! ;)

  • pretty nice i have a rc peugeot307 my self xD

  • Oh, pretty good to be Nikko! I didn't even know that Nikko has made something as good as this... =) I got a fucking Nikko Mustang, rear wheel drive wich I thaught it would be better. Then I got Marui Shogun wich is good drifter on ice but it is so fucking ugly that even if it had drifting tires I wouldn't go to drift competition or show with that kind of car..

  • the ca u hav is an nikko evolution 1:14 this is 1:10

  • And U can see a better movie of this car:" Nikko 4wd Drift 2 " in related videos!

    Regards!

  • crap crap crap crap crap crap!!!!! dude buy an tamiya or hpi

  • Sure I will, but when U dont have lots of money to spend, but u want to try the drift feeling on RC, U have to buy something more cheap like this!

And at the end, this car don't stay very far beind the tamiyas or HPI or Yokomo's!

  • wut do u do? all drift wheels or rear only?

  • AWD (all wheels drive) drift! ;)

Must be... because in a scaled car the weight distribution is diferent from a real one. So, in RC cars, is very dificult to do a nice drift whith rear wheels drive!

  • i know it is.they do donuts easily without control.thats y i love my skyline rc.i want to get a ae86 one from yokomo

  • Yeah! Yokomo has very nice cars! Good luck!

  • agreed

  • Tunerboy,you're a fucking n00b..

  • You call that drifting? my gas powered lamborghini murcielago lp640 knows ho0w to drift.

  • uh u dont drift with lamborghinis...

    u retard....

  • Whatever kids you keep playing with your toys and ill keep playing with my real car

  • LOL this 10 -15 km/h

  • In the true with actuall engine is running 30-35km/h! What is good to the retail price!

  • Hi, could you guys see me drifting my car? Just click on my name and watch the only video i posted which is home drift 1. Thx

  • nice vid m8

  • THAT WAS SHIT

  • What is your problem?

  • i thought you where nederlands

but i am srry for it

  • I always thought that nikko evolution cant be pimped up for 4WD how did you do that?

  • What u mean? This one already came like this... I dont know if tehre is some kind of kit to pass to 4wd. But with some ability maybe u can do it!

  • Btw, you used abs tyres rite?

  • might do a before and after aswell post a vid if anyone likes.

  • they say 32 kph on box but the motors that come with them a pure tourqe motors thats why good 4 wheel drift.

  • Just got me one from kmart 150 nzd :D tz motor on the way, come on boys down the road with there nitros they will be surprised none the less. they have 540 motors same as tt-01 range.

  • how much was it

  • wow! thats some crazy stuff how much was it?

  • It was about 90€ so in US dollars (atending that 1€ is more ou less 1,3$) it's about 117$!

But if you wana buy something more serious go to an RC shop and buy a Tamiya TT-01 or an Yokomo!

  • yoo man nederlands?

ik heb er ook een hoe hard gaat de jouwe?

    mijne 60km per uur

  • what? LOL

I guess you said Your car gives 60 km/h... it's right?

  • i have a cuple questions wat do u mean supermarket? and how much did it come for? lol an last is it upgradeble or did it come with 4WD and the tires?

  • Supermarket... I mean, an ordinary shop were you can buy toys and those stuff.

The nikko cars aren't very upgradable, but you can put in it better battery's, another tires and wheels, oil suspensions, new body sheel.

But it's not so upgradable like tamiya tt-01 or yokomo for example! You cant's ajust the toe-in or caster in this car, or align de direction in the car... just in the radio trasmiter!

  • It's not the "drifting machine" but to beginners and don't have lot's of money to spend it's a good start!

  • lol u responed so quickly.. nice ok

  • LOL yes!

I've another better movie from this car around here!

    Regards!

  • where u get that car from?

  • From an supermarket! But there are in some RC shops too!

  • Props you are very good

  • HOLY SHIT! Does 4WD drift that well or did you put oil on tires?

  • LOL No! We use drift tires, made of PVC or ABS, so that the car can loose traction and slide! The only thing you really need to drift is (preferencialy) a 4wd car, and that tires!

    Regards! ;)

  • axas que compensa comprar esse carro? da pa fazer o q s ve em videos d drfit???

  • q tipo d pneus sao??

    e o real vicio...

  • São pneus de plástico ABS!

  • muito fixe o vídeo. o som fica altamente! eheh
