Sheila seems to have bought into the mantra: "We'd rather fight them over there than here," which is one of President Bush's many excuses for staying in Iraq. But if that were a legitimate reason, why didn't we stay in Afghanistan, where al-Qaeda was actually present? Besides, the mantra is completely illogical and asinine. Al-Qaeda is not one person who can be in only one place at a time.
Like any group, they have the ability to multi-task. Asking our soldiers to die in Iraq is not going to keep al-Qaeda out of New York. In fact, all studie show that our presence in Iraq is radicalizing more and more Muslims every day. This war is not protecting us, and it is not making things better. And Shiela, thanks for watching us old farts. It makes us feel good to have a young chick like yourself viewing our video.
@spookynshadow I'm sick of hearing that line, it dosen't matter how many foreign war's you fight, a terrorist still has the same chance of success on american soil which is extremely low. The unabomber was a lone nut that lived in a shack and he let off 16 bomb's over 8 year's probably the most successful terrorist in US history, you see what I'm saying? You can't fight terrorist's with army's.
