This song always made me cry, this video makes me weep. I'll always wonder what Blind Melon could have been if Shannon hadn't died. I totally understand why the band called it quits. How could you go on as a band after something that sad? It was nice to see Nico step up there in her daddy's place, I'm sure she'll always wonder what it would have been like to have known him but all she'll ever need to do is look in the mirror and there he'll be staring back at her I'm sure with a smile.

I might just sit on the ground for a few hours and listen to every album. Just to reflect.

so i grew up in lafayette, indiana and was a neighbor of shannon’s mom...i remember seeing him and his wife with little nico at...yes...a house on fire in our neighborhood that was hit by lightening...it was interesting in the sense that shannon was there with his wife and little nico – she was sooooo tiny – taking pictures of the house...will never forget that moment.

I first heard them when I saw a no rain video when I was 6 years old and theyve been my favorite ever since! This is awesome to see her relating to her dad like that.
