Actually Irish did have corned beef. It's been in cookbooks for centuries, as discussed in the new cookbook "Country Cooking of Ireland." :)

@BlackWolfessUSCM Hey i dont know about SOME people but Ive recently fell in love with corned beef and I gratefully eat it a hell of a lot more then just st patrick's day! I love me some good corned beef with some good marbling fat and the best stone ground mustard you can find!
