I like this camcorder a lot, HD recording eats more batter life and memory though. I dropped a 16gb memory on there and the battery life is not 7hours LOL tops 4 hours of straight recording.

also, my problems are as follows:

no audio input

lens flares (maybe there's a way around it)

the drop in quality during slow mo is horrendous

Theres no way you can get 6 hours of recording time onto a 16 gb card (that prob would have to be on the lowest quality) as full hd recording takes up about 6gig a hour so you would only get about 2 and a bit hours of full hd recording on a 16gb card.. i have a 120gb hard drive and if i record in full hd i coild get around 20 hours of full hd.....

ok a lot of people are saying its still expensive but your getting everything an average 1000 to 1500 dollar camera can do so i find this worth it but only if you want to make a lot of videos if your just using it to record basic stuff like a trip to a museum or something its not worth it just get a flip if your going to do really basic stuff if you want this its good for making high quality videos for big youtube channels or for sport video taking and editing, I ski and it just works perfect

You can have an expensive camera but that doesn't mean you know how to use it.

Try looking into color correction, settings and such

I haven't used anything that high end as 5000 bucks. I've used under 1000 cameras and mostly HD being that vid quality is ideal for me.

You don't need to spend more than a 1000 for a great camera. i got a Sony Handycam XR150 which is 1920*1080 HD but it still didn't look that great through the lens....u can't improve the quality through editing right?

through editing you can, but it will really depend. I don't have this camera (but i am searching for a cheap one). It all about matching your settings when editing. I don't i can't be much help with this considering i never did much of the importing or editing, but try checking your importing settings. The way the video gets transfer could be whats causing quality issues. So make sure that the preset settings matches your source footage.

THERE IS A BIG MISTAKE!!!, in 0:47 you said that the battery that comes with the camera has a life of 7 HOURS and THAT IS FALSE, it only last 1 HOUR.

BUT the other option is to buy the battery that last 7 hours but is quite expensive, it costs around $160 bucks and it is VERY BIG.
