hi, im polish and austrian but i live in america. one of my friends asks me why i speak hebrew and talk about israel so much instead of talking in polish or austrian and learning about these countries. sometimes i think she makes a good point, but then I hear this song, and I remember that being Jewish isn't just a religion, it's a culture. I don't care what any birth certificate says. Israel is the land of my fathers, the land of my people. It's my country.

German soldiers of Adolf Hitler wanted to kill Jews and kill Polish people, who help Jews. Cousin of my grand mother hide one Jew in her house.
