They had a good defense when they won as well. The Saints was #1 in turnovers when they won. Their defense was offense on defense. Roethlisberger is guilty of one thing...poor judgment...PERIOD. The Steelers dumped Santonio Holmes for multiple drug infractions and the fact he WAS ARRESTED for domestic violence his rookie year. As a father of two daughters, I agree that Ben is a jerk. However, while watching this, it seems to me that Mr. Bradshaw is all over Ben for another reason. For the longest time, whether your hated him or not, Bradshaw was THE quarterback when you thought of the Steelers. Ben is taking over, he has broken Bradshaw's records, and is now who you think of when you say Pittsburgh Steeler's Quarterback. I think his jealousy may be a major factor in his slamming Ben as much as he does.

You on the other hand have been given a second chance in the game you love. How faithfully and fervently you pursue this second chance is up to you because this is your last one. At the same time I think by giving this small bit of leeway to Ben he's also challenging him that he has to constantly remain faithful and true to reforming himself and in time he will not only have repaired much of his damaged reputation but win back respectability of not only the NFL but from the public in general. This also needs not only to be an ongoing process while he plays football but after he gets out of football and throughout the rest of his life. Ben your road ahead is very long.

Personally I hope that Ben saw this on tv and really does take it to heart. I think Terry has issued a very good challenge ultimatum for him in letting it be known to him that he's got a long road to go to truly repair his reputation and that it's not going to be easy because he has put himself in such bad situations. At the same time where Terry says he hopes that Ben has proven to the NFL and to everyone that he is on the right path he is giving him a small bit of leeway.

I love Terry Bradshaw and I agree with him that the suspension should've stayed at 6 weeks... BUT, Ben was wrong and wreckless but he has made improvements and life changes that show he has changed. I believe if your willing to make changes and improvements you deserve another chance(s). I'm NOT a STEELER or Ben Roethlisberger fan at all and NEVER will be.
