Hi if u cant use those video files on the pc u still can backup them on pc I think, and maybe u can find some converter to change the video format (video editor). If u wont succede in it and add some more info I try to investigate it.

can you not get some sort of adaptor to use your sd card as a usb device?

i have a spare one if it's any use(although i won't be able to send it to you till the start of next week), you just plug the sd card into the adaptor and plug in the adaptor like a normal usb pen drive. that way you can copy all the files off it as a backup. it might get a bit annoying, but you'll be able to record as much as you like, and if we're lucky they'll be in a normal video format and you can edit them.

Why isn't your camera and computer compatible? Can't you download the appropriate driver for your Ireland computer's OS? Or do you need to buy an adapter cable, or whatever?
