He passed yesterday. His age was 17 years, 2 months and 1 day.

We miss him so much....

Trust me, his life wasn't wasted. He was treated really well and lived a good life seeing where he's from :)

17 years is definitely something to be applauded on. His death was not in vain :) Rest in peace and good luck.

good first dog? we were considering an akita (and still are) but it just seemed that for a first dog, it may be too big and too powerful, mum was worried if we lost control of it whils out walking and it harmed someone. the shiba just seemed a bit less... big, not sure about powerful but less big, but dont get me wrong, i love big dogs

Tukker seems to be a fantastic little guy, such a great temperment. My guy was 1/2 Shiba Inu, he was a wonderful dog.

WOW!! That's alot of FUR! lol We also were told that Shiba's only shed once or twice a year. (Um....no!) Our Shiba sheds enough fur to make a whole new dog! lol

We vacuum our Shiba after his bath and he loves it. I thought I was getting a dog that only shed once or twice a year....lol!

Tukker is still terrifically handsome. The Furminator makes a big difference for both dog and humane.
