  • I miss this show so much =[

  • It's time to restore America! The trade deals that have been made with China is killing America, closing plants and factories, turning Main Streets of America into ghost towns....you know...you've seen them. We need our government to drop the hammer, taking back the tax breaks for Corp to move overseas and raise tariffs on imports. Hell, Walmart used to take pride in carrying American made products...and boasted it! Today, you'd be lucky to find an American made product in Walmart!!!

  • Bring this show and Made in AMERICA Back!

I will share this on my facebook/DemandMadeInUSA

  • Damn, that was awesome! It gave me goosebumps! Share this with everyone you can!

  • Its cheaper to employ someone from china that works for 12 cents less an hour so at the end of the day you can preach as much as you like to the american worker stating that life should be better... but the corporate powers have a responsibility to their investors to turn better profits... unfortunately this means jobs overseas.. You tell me unless you use legislation (big government) you can't have american workers working for a better america??? whats the answer?

  • @johnnyboy41 its called support your local/american products

  • Did you know that the United States manufactures more goods than any other nation? That our output of goods exceeds that of China and Japan combined?

  • Then stop supporting right wing politicians who want to outsource everything.

  • @MeritisDE

How about stop supporting left wing politicians who choke off manufacturing with ridiculous environmentalism crap and union thugs who are bent on bleeding the company dry?

How about cutting taxes for companies, instead of robbing them for succeeding?

How about if HELLywood leftists quit attacking American manufacturing?

  • @dbehsman

I wouldn`t say that. I certainly agree with environmentalism but Unions are not as evil as you think they are. Sure you have some greed bastards but for the most part there is nothing wrong with Unions. Unions helped shape this country whether you like it or not.

  • @Allante715

"Unions helped shape this country whether you like it or not."

Yeah, tell that to the GM bondholders. Unions have helped shape this country into a bankrupt train wreck.

  • @dbehsman

Companies go bankrupt or layoff works regardless of whether or not they have a union. Fact of the matter is GM upper management killed the company with horrible business decision mostly in the 80`s and 90`s. Rodger Smith, enough said. Easy to blame unions for ones own ignorance.

Unfair trade practices is one of the reasons our economy is garbage. You cannot compete with a country that lacks basic safety, environmental and labor laws. Free trade fails in this situation.

  • @Allante715 there are good unions and there are shitty ignorant unions. Just like companies. There are some good ones and there are some bad ones.

  • @dbehsman It is not Left Wing politicians that choke off manufacturing it is the Milton Freedman Flat Earthers that dismantled our protective tarrif policy with this Free Trade bullshit. The Most Unionized Countrys are the most prosperous like Germany Norway and Denmark. They also have strong Enviromental laws as well. The US Chamber of Commerce Chairman just said "there is legitimate moral reasons for outsorucing".

    Think before posting next time.

  • @MsZeitgeist85

    My ass.

You left wing dipshits have destroyed manufacturing with your environmental bullshit and union thuggery.

Look at how well GM is doing. How much do you want to bet that the taxpayers are going to have to bail out that union again?

Dig your head out of your ass you fucking NAZI!

  • @dbehsman GM is making a profit for the first time in years. Why is it cheaper to build cars in Canada? Because they don't have to pay health care costs. We need Single Payer Health Care.

How do you explain how well Germany is doing now? Half of there manufacturing is unionized.

  • @dbehsman Ok even if for the sake of argument you wanted to say that enviromentalists caused manufacturing to shut down and move overseas it goes aginsts enviromentalists goals. If manufacturing is moved overseas then the carbon footprint is incresed 3 fold because of the incresed transport of raw materials being incresed 10 fold. Not to mention that there are no enviromental laws in 3rd world countrys. A true envromentalist wants to keep manufacturing jobs here.

  • @dbehsman hahah hes a zeitgeist! he doesn't believe in labor. zeitards believe that raw goods and materials come out of an elephants ass.

  • @dbehsman That sounds like a very unbiased opinion.

  • What John Ratzenberger said in this

video is so true. Our manifactors need

to stop sending their businesses to

countries that don't like us to do their

business. We need them here to

    keep our economy going.

    methodistgirl

  • i cant stand outsourcing. first off our first president advised us to isolationists, second china practically owns us now. china and several other countries in the asian area use american dollar bills (some of them) however if they were to switch over to the euro we would suffer a partial depression if not a full one. we are so dependant on them its pathetic.

  • i'm curious to know where you now purchase your electronic/grocery/food/non food items,

  • Ross Perot said about NAFTA: "That giant sucking sound you hear are jobs leaving America."

I remember a few years ago when WalMart was screaming the mantra of the "Made in America" flag waving bullshit.

Now they are almost turning into Red Chinese Communist.

There is going to be a day of reconciliation for corporate America, and it isn't going to be pretty.

Those people that you are putting out of work by off shoring are your customers you stupid asses.

  • It will become more and more expensive to manufacture in China and India when the expense of shipping, substandard quality, delays and manufacturing are factored into the equation.

I ordered a jacket from Joseph Banks and it took three months to get it from China on back order. THREE MONTHS? Then when I received it it was very substandard quality.

You can not sell your products to people who don't have jobs and I don't give a damn where you make it.

    The free ride is over.

  • "In order for America to remain truly competitive in a global economy, we must invest in our workforce to stimulate small business growth. Small businesses create two-thirds of all new jobs in this country, and the vast majority of them are paying their new workers higher than the minimum wage." ---Sen. John Kerry

  • Try: MADEinUSA,org

    (Replace comma with a dot.)

  • How do you -- or any nation -- arrive at a point of financial breakdown? Does arrogant entitlement and over-extension beyond one's means resonate with today's news headlines?

Few Americans realize that when you shop at such stores as Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Kohl's, Home Depot and Target, you slit your neighbor's and your own financial throat.

  • I have a local hardware store (remember those?) within walking distance of my house. My ex came here the other day and said he was going to get something at Home Depot (in the next town). I insisted that he try the local store, they are well stocked and the employees are actually HELPFUL. He wouldn't hear of it. Off to Home Depot he went.

  • Try finding an employee to help you at these big chain stores.

  • I understand that not every thing is in America but, jeez. I don't know how we are the richest country when we don't have jobs here in America to sell to other countries. I used to be proud of America. Now, how can I when we are in doubt and have no real American jobs on our soil?

  • I live in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. It's sad when I go there and there are vacant buildings and no one working and there are a bunch of homeless people. In Parma, there are a few abandon buildings that have been closed for years. It sucks that America is slowly selling itself for cheap products. By the time my brother's friends babies are my age, they won't have a job.

  • But...if everyone only buys products made in America....what happens to the workers in China? Will they start having to produce only for the people in their country?

    So much for internationalism.

  • The concept that they are saving us money by buying off-shore is bogus, as the jobs lost and subsequent lost income will eliminate the ability for us to buy American made products. This can only exacerbate the increased unemployment, and cause company bankruptcy. Don't be fooled, their intention is to grab more power by making us all poor, and by controlling more big business.

  • The greed of us all wanting lower prices is also cutting our own throats in the process. The government and businesses, as well as the consumer has forgotten what made this country the greatest in history. To just flush it all away, and end up just another poor socialist country is a tremendous waste of our divinely enspired founding fathers vision, and the lives of all those that fought and died to keep us a free nation and a great Republic.

  • Next thing will be shutten down the farms for cheap tainted china food. And tainted china fish will shut are fishermens jobs down to, yum yum. Wake up you sheep. Support USA goods Go on line to American made or Usa made, Country First.

  • I'd love to only buy "made in USA" but finding that label is really hard!

  • I grew up next to Bridgeport and it's sad to see all the vacant industrial buildings...

  • where at? I'm from Milford origionally

  • gotta love John, he's what America is about
