@DudexW7x i just switced from long tubes to shorties...and the shortys(bbk) seem just as loud....but there is kinda a little more power u can feel with long tubes....LT-around 20 wheel hp...and SHORTYS around 15 wheel hp...check my channel to hear the difference....

I bought this car this past dec, and you should hear it now, put a built 5.3 in it, trickflow heads, mhs stage 4 tfs n/a cams, full suspension all the way around, 31 spline rear end, t-56, kooks long tubes, bassani exhaust, and a bunch of other goodies

@wonderbreadkw An h-pipe would make it more throaty and louder at idle (that is what I wanted in the first place, but they were out of them at that time, they only had shorty h-pipes available) so they did this x-pipe which is smoother and higher pitched.

far from the truth, go listen to some crappy borla stinger or magnaflow setups an other brands, they sound like garbage, but i guess some guys like it.

this guy has a pretty savage sounding bullit, the x pipe and the flows are fucking beast.

i have flows on my 02 gt, not sure what else since i got it used, but yeah i'm probably gonna get a x pipe if i have to.

i had an o/r prochamber with flowmaster 40s on my mach. it muffled the sound a good bit and took away a lot of sounds that i wanted to hear. i didn't really care for it, so i put an o/r h pipe on and love it now. its louder with a lot more tone but isnt obnoxious. i have an older video on my profile of when i had the prochamber. listen and see what you think. the prochamber just didn't appeal to me. also, strangely enough, i noticed an overall performance increase when switching to the h.

Sorry, no more vids at this time. There will be more next summer. It is tamer than my x-pipe. It's not raspy though, it has a mellow tone. It's definetly not as loud as an h-pipe, but really deep also. The cams do kick the sound level up a notch.

I've been watching your exhaust vids, and I've red that you wish to change to a h-pipe for the deeper sound. Ever considered a pro-chamber? I have one on my 2000 gt and I love the sound. I hade o/r x-pipe with magnapacks once and now lts, o/r pro chamber and Flows and the sound is amazing check my vid.

Yeah, I had a chance to purchase a prochamber at a decent price, but the more I read about it, the more I found that it was not as loud and throaty as an o/r h-pipe and it gave it more of a muffled sound...I'm still undecided

By the way, does your username 'austin' means your last name is Austin? I'm asking because, I live in Québec(french province of Canada) and out of 7 000 000 people, there are only about 20-30 Austins and they're all my family. Never met an Austin that wasn't family that's all :)
