Russia is just, as always, using it's power to promote it's Russian nationalism(selfish, divisive racism). Just look at which areas voted for Yanukovich--all Russian areas or heavily Russian populated areas..Tis a pity.
I think the Russians are going to be disappointed with this situation in the long run. The Ukraine will get what it wants from Russia and manipulate the situation by having some overtures to the US. The Russians can't invade because that would look really bad to the other states in the area.
Russia doesn't have to invade Ukraine when it can just exploit the country politically and economically. In Ukraine's fragile situation, that's very likely.
The vote was along a complete ethnolinguistic demarcation. Ukrainains voted for freedom and Russians voted for Russia no matter how bad that is. Interesting how people vote for race and culture over freedom and the better good of all people.
why the video is not working?

what about the regions of Ucraina which belong to Romania, like the Southern Basarabia, Cernauti and Zakarpatia?

@AndradaDaciana
Do we have to have a civil war? Why can't you work together with different "races" like they did in N. Ireland?

Zakarpatia never belonged to Romania.

This is definitely going to be interesting to watch, considering what Ukraine has meant to Russia historically.
