Just to giv you an info,i am also an engineer,works for ibm.I can tell you that learining oject oriented programing languages in much easier that learning gramatically advanced languages..any one can do programming in c+,java,perl or abap.Talking is a different game altogether and when you dont have a formal teacher makes it even more impressive.

1. He's 15 right now.
2. He has not mastered those languages, he only knows a few words/phrases in them. He's taught by tourists who come around.

I could make out a few words in his russian. The accent is very heavy. I think he just memorized a few sentences in various languages on how to sell his merchandise to tourists. Nevertheless, It's impressive and shows great initiative.

i highly doubt he speaks these langagues. if he has the money to afford education to learn these he wouldnt be dressed like this or hustling on the street.

yea I hear what yur sayin, India has a nasty caste system, kinda like Europe b4 national socialism, it could use a little socialist thinking. The intelligence is there just the educated classes think these kids arent worth the effort, its sad.
so they end up entering the market economy and pick up skills as needed , like this kid I suppose :)

Just to giv you an info,i am also an engineer,works for ibm.I can tell you that learining oject oriented programing languages in much easier that learning gramatically advanced languages..any one can do programming in c+,java,perl or abap.Talking is a different game altogether and when you dont have a formal teacher makes it even more impressive.

This is really great, God has made him as example for marketing students, despite he has never been to school.
Moreover, one bad thing about some Indians is; they hide these kind of talented guys deliberately and make popular to whom they like. To the contrast, this is not found in westerners......
