@MercedesFUN1 yeah, lupo , golf and a few others aswell, very proven powerplant. the a2 version has a few upgrades tough (oil heating element to prevent damage to the aluminium engine block when freezing etc.)

@lmcneice I would use the term "econobox" lightly, the a2 wasn`t all that cheap, depending on the model more than 30,000 GBP due to it`s aluminium construction and luxurious extras.

@sandervermeij Great car, very refined and frugal (5,5L/100KM), the Diesels get even better fuel mileage (they`re quite noisy though beeing 3 cylinder engines)
