So I'm actually in DADGAD, the only differences are:
verse
D- 050200, which just gives one more D to help my picking pattern
G- 550200, just so i can keep the 2 planted
chorus
D-000200
A2(ish)-002200
G- 550000
Bm-xx4454
Thanks for letting me know about the actual chords, I just mess around until I find something that I think sounds about right. I'm glad I found someone else who plays it in DADGAD.
I am a guitar player and I found an easier way to play this song. If you want to try it, I'll include how Sean and Chris showed me while I met them at a show in Oklahoma.
Tune to DADGAD
Your "D" will be your 1 chord. "G" your 4 and "A" your 5. You will have a "Bm" 6 towards the end as well.
I love your voice

1- 000200 "D"
4- 550400 "G"
5- 770600 "A"
m6- x24400 "Bm"
Try this and see if it helps.
God Bless
