Hair transplanted to areas that grow to a limite size, height, will keep the size growing rate of the donator area. So hair transplanted from head to the eyelash area will grow continually like hair from head. So every week they nea to cut a bit the transplanted hair to keep the same size.

@jerryaltman Yes, you are correct about eyelash transplants. Once the follicles are implanted to the lid, they live and grow there permanently and will need to be trimmed. Usually, every few weeks or so. --Dr. B.
