Believe it or not, this cartoon was originally in French. It was dubbed into English and used some famous people for the dub. For example, Gadget was voiced by Don Adams, who starred as Agent 99 in Get Smart.
Believe it or not, but this cartoon was originally a French-American co-production, and produced in English language first. The production was handled by the Canadian studio Nelvana on assignment from DiC, at the time a French company which was working on establishing itself in the U.S. The show was, of course, created for broadcast in both America and France, but it was a conscious attempt by DiC to get a breakthrough in the U.S. market. And it started airing in America a month before France.
Sorry, I did not know that.
