  • To solve this problem disable Hardware Acceleration in the system preferences by going to Edit -> Preferences -> and unchecking “Enable hardware acceleration”.

    remember to save the setting afterwards.

  • If you delete your storage files it's fixed temporary, after 10 min of playing the problem comes up again.

  • Shutdown Spotify and remove ~/Library/Application Support/Spotify and ~/Library/Preferences/com.spot­ify.client.plist

    Restart Spotify, sign in and voilá. :)

  • @asdajifju2144125 but where is LIBRARY in windows??? I tried looking for progams/spotify but there is no such folder. Where did you find the first subfolder called "library"?

  • yeah, if its on a mac download 'appzapper' and remove spotify, then reinstall it, all your play list stay the same, it just removed all the corrupt files, if PC not sure, can't help.
