  • It looks very east put to get all the toold, may be expensive.. but im sure it ill be worth it:)

  • If I don't have the tool you used to do the binding - how would one go about doing the same without the tool, please?

  • @M32COL Yes I appologize.....sorry....

  • @jennydoan57 oh no need to apologize please, it is obvious you are a lady. I am the one who should be apologizing for being rude to you -I am sorry- Your videos are awesome. I´m looking for a quilting machine like the one you have but didn´t know it was SO EXPENSIVE. I´ve a charity -Foundation AVI- here in Colombia, we help children with HIV and I think making these quilts with family or special moments photos can be a good product to sell so we can have more resources, keep on the good work..

Your series is by far the most helpful thing I've come across up to now. I don't have a quilting machine and have never tried it using a sewing machine, so this is the only part I'm not 100% confident with just yet.

    Thanks again :)

  • Hello from SW Michigan! Just wanted you to know that I finished my 1st baby quilt couple of months ago, using an old Kenmore 1953 sewing machine.

Santa gave me a new sewing machine for Christmas that I just love! So, I am now hooked on quilting. And I couldn't have done it without you, Jenny! Thanks so much for the detailed videos.

  • Many have left comments saying they were inspired to make quilts from your videos, but they didn't come back to say if they finished it! So I'm here to say, your videos have single-handedly allowed me to try a dream of mine since I was young (but as a lefty everything was backwards to me so I was intimidated!). Late last night I completed my FIRST QUILT EVER (but NOT my last!) Some day I'm going to take a road trip & vist you all! Thank you SO MUCH for making my little dream COME TRUE! YIPPEE!!

  • @CabbagePatchKidAmI Congratulations!! That is awesome and I so appreciate you telling me. It really can be addictive! We would love to see you anytime. Maybe you should come to a retreat?....Thanks again!

  • Jenny all I can say is "Your The Best"...!!!

  • I've watched all three of your videos. You are great and you've made quilting seem very easy. I'm going to try and make my baby cousin a quilt. But your bracelets clanged through your video. Major distraction. But you're brilliant just the same.

  • awesome tutorial, the bias binding always looks so hard when reading it in books this video made it look much easier. I have been wanting to try a scalloped edge now i can make the bias binding without stressing about it. thank you so much!!!!! please keep the video's coming.

  • I have been looking at several binding a quilt videos. Your video was the most helpful because it assumed the person making the quilt knew nothing. You were extremely clear. Now, I am ready to add the binding to my baby quilt. Thanks.

  • I am a complete newbie to quilting and I just made my first quilt. Love it. I'm so proud of myself!!! Thank for the tips.

  • great work

i usually sew my binding from the underside first and top sew it down close to the edge on the front. i dont have to hand sew then.

i use that technique in my bags too

    enjoyed your 4 videos

feeling inspired to make some more quilts

i havent done one for a while lol

please check out some ofmy quilts on my channel love to see if you like my work

    ss08

  • Love it!

  • do you have to attach the binding by hand? or is there a reason you do it in by hand? the quilt is amazing at the end!

  • @MooCow354 I machine sew it on the front and then pull it around the back and hand stitch it down. I just think it looks best. If you want to attach it by machine I would machine sew it to the back and pull it to the front and machine top stitch it down. It really is personal preference. I'm glad you like the quilt! I think it is darling!

  • Outstanding series. Jenny is a natural teacher.

  • Great tutorial! Now I need to get the amazing binding tool!

  • After watching this tutorial, I made a quilt for my Grandson. I LOVED how easy it was by watching Jenny every step of the way. I have tried to learn how to quilt before, but it seemed way too complicating to me. Thank you Jenny, you took the fear out of quilting. You were able to show us beginners how to quilt, one step at a time. You made it look so easy, and I found out that it wasn't hard at all! I followed your step by step instructions and finished my Grandson's quilt! Time for another one!
