  • WHO you think should listen to this thin tinny dudeldudel with 90% Reverb? What a waste of space on youtube...

  • man people are Twin haters! must not own one, just compiled complaints from reading other pages.

I have a Twin Reverb reissue that I use all the time. Sometimes I mic it up, sometimes if its a smaller room I won't. I play a hot rod telecaster through a BB plus and Empress VMSD and this thing sounds unbelievable. Always getting great complements.

Have you people ever been in the presence of a hot Fender Twin? I would guess no.

There is a reason its a legend

  • amazing playing and superb tone man

  • Great sound!! Thanx. Time to fulfill promises with longer version. Is not it? ..hmm more than two years :-).

    5*

    To a guy below.

    It is not heavy

It has 64 lbs. (29.03 kg). Sounds is good. For a silent mode a pot migt be used.

  • Anyone in today's world, nobody needs loud amps anymore, this isn't the 60s where you need full stacks eric clapton style in order to be heard, modern technology pa systems do that for ya but that doesn't stop people from buying monster amps and then paying alot of money for tube replacements, chiropractor visits for there broken backs lifting the things, and broken ear drums

  • This amp's not even that big. I think it's the perfect size for a bar/club gig and it's fine if it's getting mic'd.

  • @xxrobbie1

For me it is not to be heard in the audience, but simply trying to match the drummers volume. If you have to come blaring through the monitors to hear yourself over the drummer, how can you possibly expect the singer to hear their self?

100 watt tube is fine. Going bigger than that is questionable unless you have solid state, there you could need to go more.

  • the amount of watts in an amp doesn't necessarily have to do with how loud it is, there are so many other factors that are in play, i used to have the 100 watt tube b52 at212 and my 60 watt fender hot rod deville is wayyy louder, speaker efficiency has alot to do with volume and also wat frequencies are coming out of the amp, we hear some frequencies louder than others even if the dbs are the same, rather than how many watts something is people should be concerned with tone.

  • also in order to double the wattage of something its ten fold which means a 500 watt amp will only be twice as loud as a 50 watt amp which is still only 3 decibals, 100 watt amp is not 2x as loud as a 50 watt, its more like 0.4x louder which most people wouldn't even notice a difference

  • @xxrobbie1

...as long as I can hear myself with the drums, lol.

  • @xxrobbie1 Old age guitar amps, have a beter sound than those shitty pa systems.

    Peoples choice.

Imo great sound thing u have right there.

    Keep making good music.

    Greets from Holland

  • what a machine ;D

  • At what vol dose it start to break up?

  • Just get an od...

  • nice runs but try and use a thicker string gauge to prevent sounding chinese... I use 13 flat wounds on a 335.. but I dont post gay vids.. also your twin's reverb sounds country so does mine turn that bitch down to 2

  • haha, you're so cute.

  • ahha same to you..

  • @Funkatronical I'm guessing that this was recorded using a small condenser microphone, they tend to make things sound a lot thinner than in real life.

If you listen to the acoustics it seems like the room is responding to plenty of bass that isn't getting through the mic. :-)

  • @Funkatronical Yeah, I think what sigler22 is trying to say (in the

australian idiom) is that you're a complete and utter fuckwit

  • @quonston no hes saying in my way that your a FAgg.. go listen to some men @ work.. and jerk to gay porn tough guy..

  • awesome job man. Great playing and great tone

  • If post another video, it would be cool to see you playing the guitar.

  • great! that´s a fender tone! the first guy using correctly a strat and a tube fender amp here. the rest is repetitive blues licks with fingers and guitars that sound sterile... this is SOUND and playing.congrats

  • beautiful, but the tone that kils is whatever billy gibbons is using at the namm show, with all those fenders and hes playin that esquire, sounds spanky, an honkin volume down, but lookout when he turns it up, o man, so nice, thick as georgia gravy, right on.

  • l!lright superbe tone ..

just bought a new hot rod deville he sounds fantasticc!!

    i can't wait to buy the 65 twin reverb:p:p

  • Very expressive tone, I love it. How does this compare with the Fender Deluxe Reverb? Can you get this tone out of a Deluxe Reverb as well?

  • You can get close, but the articulation just isnt the same. The notes just SHINE through. On this amp, your picking just stands out.

  • tight!

  • this is my future amp jajajaaj

  • marvellous clean twin sounds.

Got a deluxe reverb RI 65 but it isn' t so bright.

  • funny enough, had a drri for 4 months and recently traded it and paid the difference for a 65 twin reverb. the deluxe is great, but i couldnt be happier with i have now

  • a friend of mine has a couple of deluxes , great amps, but not enough huge bottom for some of the places he plays, but its light, an sometimes he mikes it, especially if i show up with this 68 blackface twin, or my marshall club and country combo, yessir, has great twangy, honkin sound, just missin about 15 watts , to me anyway.

  • are you f'n kidding me!?? 15 watts short??!!! The drummer must play with the fists of God. 50 watts cranked is ridiculous. 100 starts to make me dizzy and gives me tunnel vision and I feel like I'm 'bout to pass out.

  • Most poeple in bands have no sense of volume control and they just drowned everyone else out. Thats most bands problems, everyone just plays as loud as they can, no dynamics.

  • 85w not enough? Do the venues you go to not EVER mic the amps or something? Fuck's sake, man...

  • just a tad too much reverb, on a fender past 2 on reverb, is a bit much, for me anyway, but good playin here.

  • I personally, just what I feel personally, think, I think that the excessive use of commas, the comma use in flyfish's comment, was a bit much, a bit much, but, that's just what I feel, personally.

  • lol

  • hahahahahhaa sanchosteve

  • that's the tone I want !!

  • sounds awsome man. i got a 71, and i love it.

  • omg i NEED to buy that amp! mmmm sexy

  • ~Sweeeet sound...~~
