  • I can't believe this band never made it.

  • Something delicious!

  • Wish there was a vid for Creme Caramel. Can't find one anywhere.

  • wow

  • It's literally delicious listening to this.

  • Well possibly one of the best bands that 'got away' moved to the states and lost it completely. Adam and Eve a great album

  • I think you mean his cousin Bruce is in Iron Maiden...

  • Rob is Delicious

  • interesting about his brother in iron maiden.both he and his brother name their bands after medievel torture devices

  • @MrWosked I was wondering why an all male band named themselves after a girl. But then I was your post and looked up Catherine Wheel on the wikipedia. Thanks for mentioning that it's a torture device, not a girl's name.

  • The Catherine Wheel's singer is the young brother of Iron Maiden's Singer.

    Viva Power Pop!!!!

  • Gingers have no vertical.

  • I saw them at glastonbury in 1998, but never heard of them ever again. Its not that long ago, but it feels like it. The world is full of crap now; crap ideas, crap music. A good album, but I think they could have done even better

  • Adam is most definately one of the best albums ever created.

  • This is the song that got me into CW. It even drove me out to buy a single and the last singer to do that was Kate Bush. I still have it too green disc of "Broken Nose" on the a side.

  • Why doesn't he just put the chick on his shoulders? She could reach it. Great Song, Greatest Band you've never heard of.

  • Was it as good for you as it was for me??? <3 CW soooo much!

  • "Satellite" off this album is also a brilliant song.

  • What a mediocre video from one of my favorite fuzz pop songs of the 90's... Was Catherine Wheel considered original Shoegaze. Always thought his early stuff had that washing guitar aesthetic. Beautiful song.

  • Got the Adam and Eve album on cassette somewhere, just nothing to play it on anymore! Great album though.

  • @NorwichMatt

I can .mp3 this for you and leave it somewhere?

  • I saw Jewel open for these guys who were in turn opening for Belly. That was way back in Oct. 1995.

  • Why isn't this song available on Amazon or Itunes? Audio on this clip sucks

  • @vjtoad , you can buy the whole album on Amazon for 4 pounds...common

  • these guys existed past '94?

  • I can not believe I had forgotten this song, gotta love You Tube :)

  • YEAH!!!

  • This band went on permanent hiatus around 2000. The lead singer, Rob Dickinson, still plays solo. He's coming to Austin in September, and I'm looking forward to the show.

  • I'll be there!

  • How old is this band? How old is this song?

  • The band formed in 1990. "Delicious" was on the album "Adam and Eve," which they released in 1997.

  • fuck me ! that was good.

  • Good memories, great bands.

  • Many years ago, my friends and I went to see the great CW at The Cathouse in Glasgow (when it was on Brown St). A truly amazing set by one of the most underrated bands around at the time. Great songs, good memories. Thanks for uploading one of my favourite tracks!

  • Great song!!

I still can't get over how iTunes doesn't have "Adam and Eve"

    What a joke!

  • Yes it does...

  • noone seems to have it. Incredible.

  • iTunes and ipod IS a joke :P

  • Probably the most underrated band of the '90. This song is really amazing, Velvet Underground meets My Bloody Valentine. Love that feminine voice.

  • Catherine Wheell are competing with Editors for my favorite bands.

  • superb song

havent seen the vid so thanks

  • you eat you sleep you breath something delicious

  • Well said.

  • i gave everyone a thumbs up, now thumb me up too :)

  • the 90's the last of the real talent

  • yup, and they didnt try to sound like the rest of 90 s bands...

  • Great great great song!! Come back CW....

  • absolutely great

  • this video would have been a good match for "strange fruit" as well... or maybe not.. hah

  • their best album, criminally underrated. should've been huge.

  • @wozefa

Slight bit of tinniness on the song (bad encoding) but yeah should have been huge especially with the wonderful vampiric undertones.

  • @wozefa

    Completely agree

  • @wozefa

fantastic comment. this album was spine-tingling. just totally wonderful.

  • brilliant! I miss CW!

  • Yes, it was good for me, thanks for asking.

  • you eat, you sleep, you breathe something delicious..................STUPENDA CANZONE

  • Scary, I read this post EXACTLY as he's singing towards the end of the song. Had to respond to that.

And Rob is the man. Well, a Man. But an awesome man!

    -Adam

  • great song!

  • Cool! XD

  • One of the best Music-Videos ever... in `98 I saw this Video on Alternative Nation on MTV, it was the song of my life at this time.

  • Best Band of their time!

  • The lead singer, Rob Dickinson, has a wonderful solo record out called "Fresh Wine for the Horses"--check out the video for "Oceans".

  • I'm a catherine wheel italian fan...I MISS THEM SO MUCH!!!Its one of the best moments on a rock album EVER!!!but what are they doing now?

  • Io, come te!

  • Io pure.. :(

  • Great tune, what's with the snare drum sound. I bought this when it first came out, saw them on this tour. Great live band!!!

  • so far my fave CW video...

  • I dont know where to get this song on CD. Was it a soundtrack? I looked through every album they produced and found nothing.

  • Wishville, 1999 0r 2000

  • its on ADAM AND EVE people! A hard Cd to find.

  • My favourite CD of all time. Of course it was produced by the legendary Bob Ezrin

  • oo I so miss the days of rob, brian, dave and neil... so incredible live.. and such nice guys all around. bah - i miss em!

  • A B C D

you're in the belly of meeeeee

  • fuckin great!!!!!

  • Rob Dickinson roCkS

  • I can't believe this song is 10 years old... I remember when I first heard the song I went to Tower Record to try to find it. I had to sing it in front of the clerks, but they didn't have a clue.

I haven't thought about the song in years, but got the riff stuck in my head tonight, and decided to look it up again.

  • rock on, o nephew of the infamous BRUCE DICKENSON.

  • Actually, he's Bruce's Cousin. But no matter, he still rocks!!

  • So they didn't think of getting a ladder? Or she could get on his shoulders? Use a lassoo? Silly video characters... never thinking... That said, CW rules and I'm so glad to have found all their videos on here. Thanks for posting.

  • What about the mix into Broken Nose on the LP....I still think that is the best I've heard, always tough to make that claim, but I love how Broken Nose starts out from the quiet piano of this tune.

  • I agree! Its one of the best moments on a rock album EVER. And Broken Nose , the best hard rock song of that decade. I always get chills when I hear that last verse: "YOu've been painful for too long." Too bad they never did a vid for that. Many people mention it.

  • Okay... yeah... enigmatic monkey... one of the best moments on a rock album EVER??? YEAH!!! Yeah yeah yeah!!! You never warned me they could sound like THIS!!! DIG it!!!! Wow!!! Cuz that's what I've been reduced to... just Wow!! Can't wait to hear Broken Nose... Lord have mercy, will I survive it???!! Thanks, and ever thanks!!

  • Get Adam and Eve and put in in your car stereo. start driving slow for "Future Boy". Then, make sure your doing about 70 MPH when you hear "Broken Nose". Or just park and listen in awe. Either way this is driving music.

  • I concur wholeheartedely. Have done that exact thing many times.

  • I just had 8 full shivers run underneath my skin, thinking about Rob playing this tune as his first encore last night, man, what a show in Toronto, he truly is one of a kind.

  • adam & eve changed my life forever

  • A pioneer and deity. Pure, raw, timeless, intense poetry. Makes Emo look like a joke. Oh wait, it already is. nm.

  • I so agree with that!! What the hell is "Emo" any way? ......"Was it as good for you as it was for me? hehehehe" Something tells me, no.

  • CW kicks ass. Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead both say CW inspired them. Rob is a masterful writer.

  • awwww...they never get the fruit. how sad. :(

  • The girl in the video has been rumored to be seeing Coolio Hernendez the 3rd. Preety cool Huh.

  • YUMMY!!!! What a delicious treat!!!! Thanks so much for posting as i too LOVE ROB and the lads!!!!

  • AWESOME, GREAT!, i never thought this song had a videoclip. I discovered this band last year, really rocks

Thanx a lot for posting it.

  • Hooray! I love Rob. :-)

  • the chorus just blows me away. great band, great album, great song.

  • one of my favourite songs.
