Hey... made a sandwich today... have more planned.
Don't know exactly when it will be up.
I also made yesterday some hot wings, but they did not turn out that great for a video... I mean they turned out tasting good, but was not video worthy.
Palm sugar is made from a gruelling process of extracting the sap of the Palmyra palm from the buds. It is then cooked until thickened and is usually pured into bamboo to solidify and take a cylinder shape. Hope that helped.
wow this looks yummy. Will try it soon! thanks for sharing your recipe!

Your ingredients look ok but the kielbasa. It just does not seem to belong to dish. Have you thought about adding bacon instead?

I used carrot instead of bell pepper, and honey instead of sugar. And yes, a lot of curry and nutmeg. very delicious. Thanks for sharing.

Hmm, this seems to be quite similar to your Chinese Sweet & Sour Chicken recipe. What are the main differences?

how was the palm sugar by the way. did it alter the taste?
orealz4realz 3 years ago
What a great question!
Palm sugar is made from palm trees somehow... it is used in Thailand and southeast asian countries more than white sugar.
I actually made it 2 times once using white sugar and the 2nd time using palm sugar and could not tell the difference.
I found the palm sugar at my local Asian Market and it costs like 5 times the cost of regular sugar, so I won't buy it again.
Thanks again for your smart question!
