Who the hell WANTS kids? There's a reason why every developed high IQ civilized country on earth stopped having kids, South Korea, Japan, Europe, people in these countries have no NEED for kids. Kids are a DRAIN ON YOUR LIFE. There's absolutely no positive in the long run. Once you get past the "aww look at the cute baby" stage you will have a grown human being who will be nothing but a drain on your life until they finally leave the house.

Pay people to have kids then they may consider.

People over reproductive age don't reproduce. All living things able to reproduce increase their numbers exponentially.

Saying old people are responsible for the dramatic population increases of the past century is like counting the first few bacteria in a bacterial colony and saying they're a major contributor to population.

In elementary school you learn about arithmetic. Uneducated people don't seem to understand relative rates and the first thing about exponential dynamics.

In Europe and the U.S. only Caucasian people are losing population. Everyone else is gaining. The economy might survive in some form, but Western Civilization as we know it, as our ancestors made it, will cease to exist. It's already beginning to feel like a foreign country in many places; this will become ever-more noticable in the coming decades. Much like the civilizations of Greece and Rome died out, ironically due to the exact same issue - lack of births - America and Europe are dying out.

@tgjester7 I think you misunderstood. I'm only talking about Europe and the U.S. and specifically, Caucasian people within those civilizations. Korea, Japan, and South America do not have nearly as high immigration rates as the U.S. does, plus, like it or not, Europe and the U.S. is based on Caucasian ideals and culture, just as Japan is based on Japanese ideals, etc. As Caucasians die out, so will the civilization they created.

In the real and practical world environment, a nation or country can only maintain it's population by having two pre-requisites: First, each couple must have 3 children, 2 to replace the parents and the 3rd child to replace those who are unable to replace themselves. Second, society must be pro-natalistic and unselfish and believes in the future with reasonable optimism coupled with wisdom in long term human investment in the young and helpless.

The makers of the video seem to think that only rich western people matter. It was funded by Catholic organisations who detest any women who want to choose how many kids they have. A decline in population in regions that are using 20 times more resources than people in poorer regions is not a bad thing as it allows those in poverty to have a fairer share of the wealth due to increases in wages as populations fall. It only takes 35 years for world population to double if needed.

@cdamauser1963 I am aware of these bishops and it is a positive step from a conciliar standpoint, but Rome still holds the ultramontane view of authority (as opposed to minority ultrajectines/gallicans like myself) and both John Paul II and Benedict have not only refused to discipline the Jesuits, but have actually rewarded them with high seats of seniority among prelates.

Until the Vatican disbands the Jesuits, there will be limits to progress on this issue.

It really shows that many of those groups never bothered speaking to a person who is "pro choice". It's all there in the title. "Pro choice", not "pro abortion". I certainly do not condone abortion as a "quick fix" to pregnancy, adoption exists for a reason.
