don't get me wrong, beyonce is one of my favorite singers. halo is STILL on repeat on my ipod. but this one just isn't working for me. actually, i couldn't listen to the whole thing. lyrically, it's reminiscent of a britney song (which is the WORST direction beyonce could have gone), and the melody/singing is reminiscent of "diva" (which is my least fav beyonce song, hands down). my fingers are crossed that she'll put out a better single next time. :(
